More ‘Moonlight’ Vampire Madness

FAN FARE: Nina Tassler said she'd still love to find a place for "Moonlight" star Alex O’Loughlin in the CBS lineup.
It’s not that CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler doesn’t love vampires, it’s that she loves former “Moonlight” lead actor Alex O’Loughlin more.
But CBS still stands by its decision to cancel “Moonlight.”
When asked by a critic about the vampire show with a devoted fan base, Ms. Tassler said “Everybody knows I love vampires, witches, werewolves, warlocks-I love them all.”
“I don't question the choice we made,” she said. She added that she thinks the fan outrage she's seen is mainly actor-centric, and wouldn't mind keeping "Moonlight" lead O'Loughlin in the CBS family.
Critics, especially those with an online presence, are familiar with “Moonlight.” The slightest breath of the show invites a deluge of upset fans, (Thus explaining the question from the critic.)
Critics even asked a panel for “True Blood,” a vampire series on HBO, if the premium cable network was ready for the dedicated fans that will follow the show intensely due to the subject matter.
Looking back, I don’t think the panel understood the question, as cast member Stephen Moyer replied with a cavalier “Bring ‘em on.”
Famous last words, Mr. Moyer. Famous last words.

No Moonlight and no Jericho? If you cancel Criminal Minds, I will have no reason to watch CBS at all. Think of all of commercials that I won't be seeing this fall- I hate reality shows like Big Brother and Survivor part 128 @ Toyr R Us at Christmas time. If it were not for Showtime's Dexter, The Tudors, Diary of a Call Girl and L word,I would cancel the cable.

Ms. Tassler doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground. Moonlight wasn't just Nick, it was theology, mythology, action, history, future, and supporting characters who became stories within themselves. Cancelling Moonlight was a STUPID thing to do. Do you think "Rocky Horror Picture Show" became a cult classic because of the main character? You're a fool Ms. Tassler. You could have had a show that ran for years. YOU should be replaced!

Ms. Tassler,
Moonlight is a wonderful show and I looked forward every Friday night to watch it. It is, not was, awsome. Please try to find it in yourself to re-instate this magnificant show. CBS will not be disappointed in the ratings that Moonlight will bring to them.
Sincerely,
RG

Friday night was blah on TV until MOONLIGHT appeared. My wife and I loved the show, the new vampire facts, and the new fresh actors and actresses. There are so many horrible shows out there that have been brought back. MOONLIGHT is unique, appealing to young and old, and certainly filling in a terrible gap of Friday nigh entertainment. Please bring it back.
