ABC Adds ‘Women’s Murder Club’ Scripts

ABC has opted for three additional “Women’s Murder Club” scripts, showing confidence in its Friday night crime drama.
Although CBS' "Moonlight" bested "Club" last Friday in the 9 p.m. hour, "Club" consistently wins among total viewers and is ABC's highest-rated entry in its Friday lineup. The show has averaged a 2.3 rating among adults 18 to 49.
Now ABC just hopes the “Club” writers can finish at least one script by midnight.

Moonlight is an awesome show and is gaining ground! Once viewers tune into Moonlight, they will be hooked on this show just like me and a large number of others.
Moonlight has gorgeous Alex O'Loughlin in the lead role and with the noir film style and voice-over narratives by Alex (as Mick St John), it is a refreshing style to the current detective shows. This show has drama, mystery, fantasy, romance, humor, a terrific cast and witty dialogue.
I'll take Moonlight any day over the WMC!

Moonlight is a great show with amazing actors. I can really forsee the audience growing more and more with every episode. I really think Moonlight will stick around a while. However, I don't really see a future past one season for Woman's Murder Club.

Funny but I don't think Moonlight has legs. May have a pretty-boy actor, but the stories are thin & the premise is so hokey. I wish WMC would make more use of its SF background, but at least the characters are engaging and the stars hold the audience. And the James Patterson source-material gives it much depth. Looks like from what ABC is thinking, Womens Murder Club should be around for a while.

Watch both but think Moonlight is the better of the two shows. What can I say--I love vampires!!
Especially good looking ones. Lifetime has a really good looking one too on Blood Ties and its in its second season.
