David YoungAs a criminal court judge in Miami, I had to squelch my personal opinions for almost 15 years. Sitting judges are never allowed to express themselves on the issues of the day.

We are not allowed to say anything that might be perceived as bias if that issue ever came before us in court. It’s not that we don’t have opinions; it’s just that we can’t say them out loud.

Judges have been kicked off the bench for violating these strict rules. It can be quite frustrating.

But lucky for me, my freedom of speech was essentially restored when I stepped down from the Miami bench to become a TV judge. When most judges leave the bench, they are finally able to talk with friends and neighbors about current events. Ha! Friends and neighbors are fine, but now I get to share my thoughts with the entire country. It is awesome. Simply awesome.

For example, I cannot tell you how thrilled I was to be asked to comment on national news for the first time (on the Fox News Channel, no less!) about Paris Hilton’s alleged million-dollar deal with NBC for her first post-jail interview.

Since my national news debut on Fox News, I have been invited to serve as a legal commentator for TV, radio and in print. I have given my opinion on all kinds of mishaps involving today’s pop culture icons, including Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Ritchie, Sen. Larry Craig, Sean Combs, Kiefer Sutherland, O.J. Simpson and, of course, Britney and Fed-X.

Although I don’t exactly feel sorry for Sen. Craig, my heart goes out to Britney and K-Fed’s children. If I were the judge presiding in that case, I think I just might have the chance to do some good for their family. Their judge must take an aggressive, pro-active approach. That means making sure that Britney is in drug rehab (an in-patient program of the court’s choosing, for several months in length, away from the media focus — and certainly not some cushy drug spa), and both Britney and Kevin should attend parental counseling. Kevin should probably be required to submit to mandatory drug testing and attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings as well.

Whatever the court’s solution, I hope and pray for the welfare of those children. The parents are adults. Even if they feel (wrongly) that as celebrities they are above the law, I suppose that’s their choice. But these children made no such choice. They deserve to live in a nurturing, healthy home. I have seen how devastating it can be for children whose parents engage in drug-addicted behavior. These children deserve better.

Being a TV judge is an indescribable privilege. If you had said 18 months ago, as I sat in my chambers in Miami, that I would be commenting publicly on celebrity justice and real issues of our time, I would have told you to stop partying so hard with Britney Spears. This road I’m on now is certainly unexpected, but I feel like one of the luckiest guys on the planet.

I can imagine how different the two would be. I think any kind of change that allows you to express your own opinions and be more yourself would be a change for the better. We should ALL value opinions whether we agree with them or not, and alot of people would benefit from learning so. I have heard both positive and negative comments about the show but can honestly say they are more positive than negative. I also noticed someone made a comment about the Bailiff on the show as well. I have to say I entirely disagree. I have never seen her act inappropriately or anything like a hussie. (Tawya is hot btw haha :-p) The two of you mesh so well on the show, and it would be sooo different if you had another bailiff. So although I so value others opinions, I really have to disagree on this one.

I watch a lot of these television judges and Judge David Young is this first judge i've seen make a really bad decision.
Look at the Rock and teeth episode this week.

"Both" kids threw the rock at the little boy at the same time and for some dumb reason Judge David Yound picked the rock which hit the little boy when he has no evidence which rock hit.

I watch these shows everyday and have never written a comment so this must be bad.
Get rid of this Dude!

Margaret Opine:

THE CASE OF MANY BOYS THROWING ROCKS
Hello David Young, TV Entertainment Judge

I wish you good business BUT . . . your business is the law and we the viewers have something to say about that.

Judge Judy's intro says this is HER courtroom but it is not. It is OUR courtroom. We pay Judy a lot of money (as viewers we pay salaries) to get it right. And she does not get it right most times about 20%. We don't want judges on benches to holler at people though we understand the aggravation. We certainly don't want judges to call people names like "stupid" and "loser." And, we don't want the judges to "parent" the litigants. People parent according to their (domestic) culture. But J. Judy is tolerated just a little bit because she has a lot of life experience and she does have a persona that's entertaining. Often she's right too. But someone as young as you David does not need to parent from the bench and no one really wants to hear your personal opnions. (Well, not much.) We watch the show for the LAW and the entertainment with the litigants mainly because of how they think and act but mostly how the law sees problems and how the law solves the problem with logic (and some morals but then whose morals gets to be the problem). We are not watching the show for parenting and talk about male-gay-bonding rituality. IT IS OBVIOUS WITHIN 30-seconds that you are gay! We are not watching David, the gay guy, we are watching the LAW with ordinary problems and ordinary people. PLEASE STICK TO THE LAW!

We have had to allow all the young people to grow up before our eyes on TV from Oprah to Diane Sawyer and many others. Our tolerance will extend to you too David but we will criticize you so you can get your job and your performance in gear for a TV success that we want and need. But you are starting out doing just what Oprah did -- speaking way too much about something you know very little about and speaking condescendingly. That's why we want you to stick to the law, respect the litigants and learn to deliever good quips but not your idea of parenting skills and putdowns.

NOW CULTURE. All of the TV judges want to overwhelm the litigants with their PERFECT (DOMESTIC) CULTURE. Like Judge Marilyn Millan. She's young. She thinks she has it all. She thinks she knows it all much better than the people before her. But we know she is just one tube of lipstick and one pair of panties in the glove compartment of the family car away from everyone else.

TODAY'S VERDICT . . .
IT WAS CLEAR TO ANYONE WHO WATCHED TODAY THAT ALL THE BOYS THREW ROCKS INCLUDING THE INJURED BOY. AT MOST, THE DEFENDANT SHOULD HAVE HAD TO PAY ONE-THIRD OF THE BILL. SOMEONE ASKED THAT QUESTION IMMEDIATELY. (DAVID TALKED ALL AROUND THAT QUESTION. WE SAW THAT!) JUDGE DAVID APPEARED IMMATURE BECAUSE THAT LIFE LESSON IS SO OLD AND OBVIOUS. MOST PARENTS WOULD HAVE OFFERED TO PAY PART RIGHT AWAY AND NEVER SEE A JUDGE. NOW THE BOYS WILL NOT LIKELY BE FRIENDS ANY MORE BECAUSE THAT MOTHER WILL NOT WANT TO PAY ALL THAT MONEY KNOWING IT WAS UNFAIR.
PLEASE STICK TO THE LAW!!!! YOU ARE NOT SOLOMON. YOU'RE A TV JUDGE and our opinion counts because it grounds the judges to what we want to watch, see and hear.
Margaret, Viewer

Lynze:

I missed this episode so there isn't much that I could say about it. But as for it being obvious that he's gay within the first 30 seconds, really what does that have to do with anything. If it bothers you, change the channel. We do have opinions about what we want to see on TV, unfortunately out of the millions of people in this country alone, everyones opinions seem to be different, and tend to clash. In your post Margaret, you seem to be trying to represent us all as viewers and that shouldn't be the case. You should have replaced all of your WEs simply with I's because you are speaking for you and you alone. Though I'm sure Judge David will appreciate your constructive criticism this statement here really bothers me.

"We are not watching the show for parenting and talk about male-gay-bonding rituality. IT IS OBVIOUS WITHIN 30-seconds that you are gay!"

I just don't see how that pertains to the show at all. I'm sure there are people out there who might possibly watch the show just because he is a gay Judge, and that's fine. Everyone has their own reasons to watch the show, and whatever their reasons may be, please, stop trying to mold Judge David into your idea of the perfect Judge. In my opinion, if there is something you don't like about the show, grin and bear it, or just change the channel.

Bob G :

To judge David young 11/09/07 the episode today about the lesbian couple showed that the judge used his bench to protect two lesbians refund for rent? yes $4000.00 for pain and suffering no the only reason for this award two lesbians call me a homophobe call me a bigot call me what you want but judge you were wrong wrong wrong and that is not just my opinion

Ted I. Jones:

My wife and I saw your show the other night and really enjoyed it (the episode with the private eye and the jealous lover). If I closed my eyes I could almost hear you talking at student government meetings at Tulane in the 80's. Its great to see you on television, and good luck and best wishes with the show.

Ted I. Jones
Tulane University '81

David Young:

Lynze, thank your for your comments--they are much appreciated. Bob, yours was not a bigoted comment at all. It was critical of my decision (one of my closest friends is in agreement with you by the way), for which I have no problem--thanks for watching and taking the time to write). And Ted, THANKS for watching. I wish we could have spent more time together last year. Would love to get in touch with you and meet Mrs. Ted Jones. To all--Happy Thanksgiving! My best, David

Helga Frees:

Today you had a show that pertained to a puppy that died. You said that the dog should not have gone outside because it could "catch" eplipsey outside. The puppy cannot catch that outside. He had to been born with it. She was sold a dog that should not have been sold. You are not a doctor. Helga

David Young:

Helga, did I really say that? If I did, then as Dear Abby would say I should be hit with a wet noodle. Thanks for the alert. David

this is just sad:

I just can't believe this judge! He sings "Mr,Ed." does he really take the law seriously? Or is he really a joke? I have never seen a justice judge be such a fool on the bench, he thinks he is teaching someone something and knows wisdom he knows nothing about life or the law that he doesn't read from a book. He sounds like a little kid up there. I have watched every law judge on the T.V. and he is the stupidest one yet. Sony pictures should drop this show its a joke and a insult to the company. To even consider putting this show on the air he even sings "ANNIE". He thinks he is on Broadway. And what is that gold thing on his robe he is wearing? He is a fruit of another tree. And pick him off the air as soon as possible!!!! I think channel 13 in Calif is hard up for shows and this is just a foolish joke now he answers his cell phone? OMG!!!!!!!!

Jenna`Simons:

This is sad is just another homphobe. Watch his show TIS and you will see he is a Judge with heart, compassion and intelligence.

I am a huge fan of TV court shows...i really have no idea why, but i find them captivating. Judge David Young is no different in that regard.

Love the show, very entertaining. If I wanted to see serious law preceedings I'd hang out at the local family court. I watch Court shows because the ligigants are entertaining, as is the judge.

The only judge that annoys me, but I still watch, is Maria Lopez...she uses more cliche's than a 80's movie script..."if u can't stand the heat, than get out of the court room? Talk about the american dream I AM the american dream...who rights her stuff? Talk about american cliche's, SHE IS an american cliche.

"Gangs, jail, I was there...second chances, I got one"...that's an intro.

sorry, had to rant, and I have no one to rant to in regards to my court show addiction.

Keep on Keepin On, Judge David.

and keep him on..(the air)

Sorry for being such a loser...court shows are my love.

Gotta Go though..11 minutes to Wapner.

In defense of Judge David Young once again, you all have to remember that the court is filmed live, and there is no well orchestrated professional script writings here.

Yes, David at times may seem a bit immature, but still lovable, and at times he is very funny. I admit sometimes he does not think before he speaks, and he tends to think about the delivery of his “punch lines” out of context of the court case.

Like for instance in the case where the pit bull attacked the little German Snouzer, only weighing at 5 pounds, and the pit bull weighing at around 56 pounds. The plaintiffs tried to get money back from Judge David for their inconvenience of missing a taping of a live “American Idol” show there in New York City.

David, I must point out that you really lost it here. It would have served a purpose well to state very quickly that you are a fan of “American Idol” as well, and end it there. But you went on and on to a point of no return. Furthermore, when the plaintiff’s husband admitted he actually was not a fan of American Idol, for some strange reason you, lost it even further, and lifted up your honors robe and stated. “I’ve got one of them too!”

It appeared to me that your plaintiffs at that point was not amused, however, the wife politely chuckled at your attempt of humor. We get the picture, David. OK! But you are obviously trying to mix court justice with education to the public about gay life. It’s not necessary, and it is an insult to attempt to educate with this kind of behavior that can be considered by most to be vulgar.

Now I like you a lot, but you really need professional guidance to become a shining star if that’s what you want in life. In order to become a successful television judge you must show your audience, and your plaintiffs and your defendants, and other professionals in the business that you have all that it takes, and more to sit on that bench. You must not forget that you are in a very heavy weight competition. Like American Idol. There are many television judges now gaining celebrity ship. You would not want to be the first television judge that Sony pulled the plug on, so please think before you act. If you need further assistance, I am in the business of marketing and promotions

Rachel H.:

Judge Young,
I have had a difficult time finding a contact address for you so I hope that you still read your comments on this blog. My mother and I are both fans of your show. You won our hearts especially when you had the case of the single mother who was suing a pawn shop over a scooter. You understood better than anyone I've ever seen in your position the plight of a single mother and how difficult small things, such as gas money that most people take for granted, are to come by at times. My mother and I have worked in law enforcement all of our lives and seen how often the human element has been taken out of the court system. Also, your passion to give voice to the most helpless among us, the animals, is inspirational. Please don't change a thing about yourself or your show. You put the bleeding heart of the people that the system it was meant to protect back into the justice system.

thank you.

David Young:

Rachel, what a beautiful email--THANK YOU!I am glad you enjoy the show. Please give your Mom a hug for me ( and one for you as well). My best, David

Rachel H.:

Thank you very much for your reply! If you are ever in the Birmingham, AL area feel free to come on by Walker County and drop by our Narcotics Team, we'd be glad to have you around. I think you would particularly like the way we do things in one respect at least- we are particularly conscious (on search warrants) of the fact that while their owners may be going to jail for very legitimate reasons that the pets shouldn't have to suffer- if there are pets in a house where everyone is going to jail, we make sure they make contact with someone to come and pick them up just as we would if there were children present. As a group of avid animal lovers, our whole team is horrified to hear stories of other agencies not being so aware and leaving animals abandoned in drug houses only to starve to death when their owners are unable to make bond for weeks on end! I've often felt it should be part of law enforcement training to consider these situations, but alas, most agencies aren't as lucky to have a leader as animal concerned as our director (he has rescued many a mutt in his personal life). Feel free to get in touch, lightofnostalgia@aol.com -we've often discussed how fun it would be to have lunch with you! Once again, thanks for using your fame to make the world a more tolerant, beautiful and considerate place to exist.

Mandy Murphy:

I just wanted to write to let you know how much I enjoy watching you. I am a married woman, 30 years old and my husband and I have 5 children. I feel like you are so positive and such a "light" to be able to tune into on TV. I am an only child, but if I ever had a brother, I would want it to be you! Keep on doing a great job and I wish you nothing but the best in life! You are a terrific role model for todays youth- happy, positive and successful! Once again, thank you!

teresa Valdvia:

Its good that now you get to say what you want with out getting in trouble for it like you would have probably have gotten.. Its good to be able to say what you feel

David Young:

Rachael and Mandy thanks for being such loyal friends and fans. It means so much!!!!

And yes Teresa, it feels good to have my civil rights restored!

My best and appreciation to the three of you!

Keith:

Hey David its Keith, Julies Ex-Boyfriend. I just wanted to say that I was very surprised to see you on TV the other day and didnt believe a first that it was you. Atriple take was more like it. I am very excited for you, this seems like something you can enjoy a lot more. The verbal liberty must be enthralling. I wish you the best of luck with this endeavor. Hope Scott is doing well. Be good, and BE FAIR. LOL. Have a good one.

gena naugle:

i was on the show. how do i get acopy .i dont live where it airs

Steph:

Wow! Just checkin in on the site, articles, comments, etc. Wow! Freedom of Speech combined with the capabilities of the net is a great thing huh? Everyone has an opinion that they can (and obviously do) share. My first experience with watching Court on TV was the original launch of The People's Court. From then until now, I've seen many verdicts that I may personally not agree with but I dont hold any degrees or training in this area. Geez people! Calm Down! There is never an excuse for rudeness.
Maybe I'm biased because I like Judge David. If you dont like him...change the channel. DUH! This has been the ONLY site where I've ever posted a comment. This is my second and I do it to supportive because I thinkl that highly of him.

Lynze:

I couldn't agree with you more Steph. Opinions have always been an important part when you're in the spotlight, the good and bad. And although I'm sure David knew this from the beginning, and prepared himself for both sides, some comments have been completely unnecessary. But I should add that from what I've seen, He ALWAYS replys and takes his criticism in the utmost respectable manner. He remains professional, and never retaliates. That says something about him. And as I said before, and I'll say again... These people that are "hunting" down your website and taking the time to post negative comments, are STILL taking the time. They still secretly got love for ya' ;)
Have a Great Weekend

David Young:

Keith (what a nice surprise), Steph and Lynze THANK YOU for those warm and fuzzy comments. They mean so much to have such wonderfully devoted friends.Gena, please contact the producer who worked with you and your case and they should give you the info. Let me know if that doesn't work. Have a great week everyone!

Sandi Jacoby:

Dear David
I used to watch ALL the judge shows, now, you da man. I love your sense of humor, I love how you can bite the head off someone speaking when you are. I love your're show so mcuh. I tivo it every day. Do you think that you will go to an hour? You are the bomb! I too love penquins, and I have adopted my 4 dogs from the pound. I think you are wise and caring and so very fair. I wonder if I could get an autographed picture of you. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, your show. It is RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT!
Sandi

David Young:

Sandi, aren't penguin lovers special! Thank you for those kind comments. Am SOOOOO happy that you enjoy the show!

Nicki:

Judge Young,
Sir, I have to tell you that I will no longer be watching your show. I love judge shows and I usually can put up with your gay antics, but today was the last straw. Today, 11 Mar, aired a case of a mother sueing daughter's ex for money. You made a comment [my own words] you straight people just can't be responsible with having childern and people make comments about gays; at least gays would be more responsible with children. Sir, I guarantee that if any straight judge made an anti-gay comment on television, they'd be made to apologize and surely the gay/lesbian activist groups would demand their job. I spent 20 years serving the United States Air Force to protect the freedom that America stands for and I'm proud that you don't have to hide who you are. But you are a judge of the law and not a judge of people. You are a public role model and don't you think straight people should be afforded the same respect as gays/lesbians? Please don't payback the years you were "silenced" on the bench to now use your bench to attack heterosexuals.

Jena Simons:

Nicki, what are you talking about? You sound like one bigoted bitch. Judge Young did not say what you said he did. Face it girlfriend, you don't like gay people. Do feel the same way about African-Americans, like me, too???? Hmmmm

Nicki:

My comment is respectfully to Judge Young.

Judge Young,
Sir, please read my comment as a sincere concern for treating all people equally, regardless of sexual orientation, and not in judgment of any form.
v/r
Nicki

Lynze:

I also read Nicki's comment as sincere. I saw nothing in the entire thing that sounded the "bigotry" alarm. I don't know about anyone else but it gets a little tiring hearing the "you don't like me/him/her because i'm/he's/she's gay" card. But at the same time I believe ALOT of people are oblivious to just the kind of freedom, or lack thereof that actually exists in this country, but that is another topic entirely. Jena, Nicki said not a single thing about African-Americans in her post. Where did that even come from? Or are you just trying to relate to being a minority in some way? I guess I just don't understand why you even brought that up. I also agree with Nicki's comment about straight ppl being afforded the same respect as homosexuals. Unfortunately, Nicki... That respect, in most cases, is almost non existent, but I do get where you are coming from, as far as everyone being treated equally. I also think it is childish and pointless to respond to everyone that you disagree with as a "bigoted bitch" Just slightly over reacting.

Nicki:

Lynze,
I appreciate your ability to read a comment for what it is. I actually like Judge Young and am not attacking who he is. My comment was based on pointing out our societies insatiable need to be politically correct which seems to only apply to certain groups. I hope Judge Young can also view my comment as not an attack on him but to point out that if some groups want respect, so must we afford it to all.
Respectfully,
Nicki

David Young:

Nicki, thanks for commenting. I am not a person that casts generalizations. Doing so is wrong..did I say it's wrong? It's wrong it's wrong it's wrong. What I see going on for the Democratic Presidential nomination race is sickening!! As far as Jenna's comments, she is a loyal and protective fan. I do not agree with her assesment of you or your comments. Lynzie--your fabulous. Thank you 3 for watching and being totally honest--I respect that! Hugs to you all...

Nan Bruno:

Today is March 24, '08 and I have just viewed Judge David Youngs show for the first time. Words can't express how shocked I am to see such a mockery in the courtroom. It seems to get worse and worse with every new court show that comes on. I see ACTUAL JUDGES, who must have enough intelligence to have passed the bar exam but then turn around and make an ass of themselves like a frustrated wanna be actor / actress. I have seen obnoxious behavior when they shift into their power mad mode. egotistical self serving show offs that want to use this forum as a means to spout off about their own personal agendas... cloaked in garb that is meant to imply that they are above reproach.... NOT. Of all the different Courtroom shows I have viewed the only one that seemed to have any ebb of a brain was Judge Joe Brown... but as time went bye he too, picked up on this over dramatization. How sad is this.... as if real life isn't enough for these poor souls they have to embellish every facial expression they make... every motion ... every sentence... it's pathetic. I for one would never spend a nickel on the products of the companies that sponsor these shows. In today's show when you were talking to the little 10 year old girl that had stolen her grandmother's jewelry (you missed your calling... she certainly did take it) you said to her "UNCLE DAVID YOUNG" bla bla bla.. good grief, grow up.... you are just waaaaay over the top with your swish.

Jena Simons:

Ms. Bruno, you are an ignorant bigot(an oxymoron. Let me try to put this simply, these shows are not real courtrooms. Judge David is perhaps the best and most compassionate Judge on TV. He is awesome!!!! Not liking his courtroom style is your choice, but to end your illogical comments by using the term 'swish', proves my point about you being a bigot. You probably will watch him everyday, because deep down you really like him (like so many of us). You can't turn him off...

I frequently watch this show and I find it very refreshing. Finally, a judge that has a heart as well as upholds the law. I like how he comes down and talks with the audience in the courtroom.
He sees things with the heart as well in the law. There are judges who are harsh and very abrasive. We are all human beings. We are all different in some way, but we have feelings and are all God's children. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but again we must open our hearts.
I love when Judge David stands up for animals. Someone has to speak for these creatures that cannot speak for themselves. We must give them a voice. Thank you. Don't change. Work it!
Job well done.

Please feel free to visit my website & possibly leave a comment. Maybe you would enjoy a copy of my poetry book. Share the love.

David Young:

Patty, thank you for those kind and encouraging words. I will contiue to 'work it', because of people like you. Big Hugs!
Jena, thank you for your continuous and vocal support. You are a true friend. xxoo
Nan, I am sorry that you are not a fan. But as I like to say, that's why Baskin Robins has so many choices. But I hope you will continue watching and that we might be able to convert you. A big hug to you as well!
My best, David

Deb Kazmierczak:

Judge David, saw part of your case today with regards to the pitbull/yorkie story. You made a comment that a little dog would not attack a big pitpull, provoke a large dog. We had a similar experience where my moms chihuahua was nose to nose with a neighbor's very passive german shepherd, when the little dog snapped at the larger dog. The shepherd grabbed the little dog, did not shake her, tear her to pieces, but did ultimlately break her leg, puncture her lung, cause some damage, which could have been fatal for the snotty little monster. The little dog has always been barky, king of the hill/princess type mentality, and this time it almost cost her her life. Don't assume the bigger dog is at fault. We have a pitbull that is very passive with other dogs, has never attacked a smaller dog, but has been barked at and hastled by smaller dogs.

lenny:

you should have an email address.
my ex used to have a yorkie who i loved, but i refused to walk because she would attack any dog that approached (size having nothing to do with it.) she would walk up to big dogs like as if they were going to be best freinds, & as soon as she was in striking distance, she would bite the other dog. she nipped at people as well. although there were times she would be like a loving little baby at times, she startsed fights with at least 5 dogs before i refused to walk her any more. she also bit two relatives kids when they visited, as well as a few grown ups. i'v had many dogs throughout my life, & the yorkie was the most vicious as far as attacking. i think that you are size prejudice.

Lynze:

I understand the puppy prejudice. Definately. I had a beautiful 6 year old white red nose pitbull named Angelo. He was the sweetest most passive and caring dog I've ever seen. One day we let him outside, and one of the neighbors though it would be funny to open the gate and let in a black lab that had been sniffing around. That black lab went straight for Angelos jugular vein. We ran out there as soon as we heard any commotion but the dog had already done some damage. Angelo, not even for a minute... did not try to fight back. We rushed him to the vet and 3 days and $500 worth of vet bills later, he was well enough to come home. He recovered, but as soon as we got him home, we were told that we were being taken to court. They wanted to take him away and get him "put down" because he was a danger to the community. :( Even though he has never fought a day in his life. I asked about the black lab, and was told not to worry about the black lab, they are family dogs, and would never do such a thing. We had to find him a home on a farm to keep them from taking him away and never seeing him again.

Nicki, I think you missed the whole point of David's comment, which actually held great emotion toward the idea of being a parent which of course he cannot be, because he is a gay man.

David was not attacking anyone on that episode. He was however displaying a great emotion of sadness for society in general. He was referring to himself, that he believed he would have been a more responsible parent, not that gay lesbian's make better parents.

Maybe to some viewers it seemed that he was making a remark against heterosexuals.
But think logically, and take the time to observe Judge David's behavior and or facial expressions, and then you will understand the meaning behind those words. Obviously you misconstrue.

dorothyburcher:

Dear Judge Young, I am 73 years young and i want to tell you that seeing your show is the highlight of my day. You are awesome. Did i say[i love you ? Keep up the great job. Dorothy Burcher.

David Young:

How dare you say that I have a "size prejudice". LOL! Well deserved criticism my friends--thank you for educating me! Dorthy, I love you for loving me--thanks!

Just started taping for the second season. There are some major changes in the show--I love them. Looking forward to hearing your opinion of them. The new seasom doesn't start until Sept. though.

Nicki:

Mary Ann,
I completely understand (logically) what he was saying. It seems that my point was not taken as intended. I was trying to shine light on the destruction that political correctness has wreaked on America. My point is quid pro quo...if you want, you must also give. As I said previously that if a straight judge would have made an outwardly disparaging anti-gay comment to the litigants, there would have been a huge outcry and perhaps the show would have been pulled(need I name examples...Dog the Bounty Hunter, Don Imus to which conduct I don't condone). In the name of freedom of speech, we think it is carte blanche to be rude, disrespectful, and hateful...that is not the freedom of speech that I spent 20 years defending. I do not hate for the sake of hate. I do however use my right to disagree. Gay/Lesbians want the same respect as everyone else; they need to give it. Judge Young threw out a blanket statement about straight people and he rectified himself with his answer to me...that generalizations are WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. That was good enough for me. And as for not watching his show, I've stopped. A point is a point. I am certainly exercising my right of "if I don't like it, don't watch". Mary Ann, I appreciate your diplomacy...it's hard to communicate with people who want to throw out mean spirited words like bitch, bigot, ignorant...that's not the freedom of speech I enjoy. God bless you.

Jena Simons:

Nicki, you love Judge David like we all do. Just admit it you are wrong about him and you watch him everyday. I will admit that you might not be a bigoted bitch--a santimonious bitch but not a bigot. Just kidding girlfriend. Lighten up.

Lynze:

Oi!

Phyllis Hineman:

I watch Judge David Young almost daily and watching him with his decisions he seems to know what he is doing, but the episode where the Man was riding a bicycle in the middle of winter, Dec. 15, 2005 and the lady hit him, I don not agree with the way he treated the defendent. I recently was in an accident and NO police officer asked my opinion of what happened, never took names of witnesses, and wrote up his own report about what happened. My vehicle was struck on the rear passenger side tire and pushed sideways and rolled several times down the highway. I am lucky to be alive. The police report stated the other car coming from the opposite side of the highway and hitting me in the side. The other vehicle was deemed in the wrong but I was upset over the writing of the police report and all the wrong facts.

As for the defendent in this case, the Judge never gave her a chance to show her pictures or explain what happened in the other court case that was dismissed against the plaintiff because the police report stated that she hit him.

Needless to say, he has lost all credibility with me and I will no longer view his program.

David Young:

Phyllis, unfortunately they had to cut out a lot of what I heard. In fact, the Defendant produced a police report which was contrary to what she said in Court. I hope that I can win you back! Thanks for writing. David

Patrick Colin Jackson:

Dear JDY,

Speaking of "Pop Justice," I would love to read your honest opinions regarding some of your fellow TV Judges...

------------------
1) Judge Joe Brown

2) Judge Christina (from "Christina's Court")

3) Judge Dredd (I'M JUST KIDDING!)

3) Judge Alex Ferrer

4) Judge Hatchett

5) Judge Mills Lane

6) Judge Greg Mathis

7) Judges Jerry and Judy Shiendlin
----------------------------------

As for myself, I've always considered you the Bar Association's answer to Richard Simmons...since you're zealous, upbeat and indomitable - and since you display genuine concern for your litigants.

Thanks for responding,

Pat

sunny perry:

Dear Judge Young;

You are a hoot, I enjoy your show and especially your cute Balif, she is quite funny and very ex-
pressive in her face for your comments.. you two are a perfect match..

Keep singing and telling us all like it is.. have fun and enjoy live..

sunny perry

Mary Ann:

Judge David, the more I see of your repeats the more I can see the amazing man behind the camera. Others have told me they see it as well. I'd love to point out these incredible things about you which come off on camera, but I'd rather talk about it with you in person , because what I see boggles the mind. So we'll just wait until the fall.

Lynze:

Awwwwww :-p

David Young:

Sunny, Mary Ann amd Lynze--thank you for your thoughtful comments! I am quite thrilled to announce that I have been nominated for an Emmy. In my first year no less. Thank you my loyal viewers and friends for your support and suggestions. This has been a great year. With much gratitude and affection, David

Mary Ann Sawant:

JD... I'm just waiting until the day I get to actually meet you in person, as well as waiting until the day, I see a lot more of you on television .

"You're just to Good to be True,
Can't take my eyes off of You...."
Lardy dardy , dar....!
as sung by....Jason Castro.....

I watch as often as I can - alas, that isn't quite often. I think the show is entertaining as well as informative to those who may not understand certain aspects of the courtroom or justice system as a whole. I'm 18 and I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia last year and told that I had been misdiagnosed with Juvenile Onset R.A. since the age of 7. Prior to that, my mother had doctors tell her that her daughter [myself] had Leukemia. My life in and out of hospitals and tests has been scary as well as painful. I work at a Retail Store here in South Carolina that does not offer medical insurance, and I will soon be taken off of my parents because I am not a full time student - I missed a lot of school, including taking my SAT. I'll be taking it this summer, and hopefully returning to school at a University to major in Speech Pathology in the Spring. That leaves me without health insurance for the fall semester. We've found several things that deny Fibromyalgia rendering disability [for the actual disease, i've found that if you do get disability for any period of time, it is for chronic widespread body pain, and that it is hard to get re-hire eligibility afterwards] if you are out of work. I'm unsure if my body will let me work and go to school, and until I'm in school I will not have insurance to cover my medical expenses. I have a Ruematologist at MUSC and I go to Physical Therapy. I trust and respect your opinion, and a friend of mine and I even want to find a way to travel and see your show - even meet you if we can. I want to know if my mom and I have found the right stuff, or if there is a way to lengthen my insurance until I can get into school. If you read all of this and respond, thank you. You are a really great man and Judge.
Kerrie

Marvin Weiner:

Just caught your show for the first time. I know that NMB helped produce a lawyer but I never realized an entertainer. It appears that you still stand up for what you think. That apparently hasn't changed and I applaud you for it.My best wishes for continued success. I couldn't find an e-mail address so I'm sure that you will see this.As you might have guessed I am enjoying my retirement..

David Young:

Mr. Weiner, it is wonderful hearing from you. Everyone needs to know that you were my high school principal. If we had more Marvin Weiner's in the school systems throughout our nation, our young people would be getting an A+ education. Glad you are enjoying retirement. David

David Young:

Kerrie, I salute you. You are a hero. Unfortunately we do not provide health care for everyone. That is just wrong--did I say it's wrong--it's wrong. I am hopeful that the next President of the USA will make insuring all Americans his highest priority. The 2 candidates provide very different solutions to this major problem. Try calling your parents insurance administrator and see if they can extend your coverage. It can't hurt. Please keep me posted.

I would love to meet you! If you come to NYC to see a taping, please let me know. You (and everyone else) can go to my website at JudgeDavidYoung.com and order tickets. Hugs superstar! David

Jena Simons:

Judge David--you were robbed. You have the best Judge show and that Christina is so damn boring. I am so mad--I love you and Tawya. Don't feel too badly. Your fans think you are #1.

Jena, and everyone here on this panel, everyone knows including the Daytime Emmy awards cameramen know who the real winner was . As I let David in on some important inside information that after Christina accepted the award, the camera focused on Judge David, no one else, not even Judge Judy was paid any attention to during the show.

All I can suggest...join as a member of The people's choice award, and vote for Judge David. He deserves our support, and that's the best way we can give it that really counts in tv land.

We Love You! JD! XOXOXOXOXO

Ryan:

Unbelievable, this Judge is a joke. He is very unprofessional. One minute he is a serious Judge the next a flamboyantly gay want-to-be comedian. He thinks he's clever with his stupid comments, but really he usually doesn't make any sense. He's more of a want-to-be actor than he will ever be a good Judge. Today, he even referred to himself as Uncle Judge David. That just proves how he has turned his courtroom into a joke. He shows no respect for other people and makes a joke of the Justice system. I will never watch this circus of a show again.

Honey, get real, our court system is a big joke. David is a real human being behind the robe. Get get over it. The show is produced for fun as well as to learn about law.

David I would love to be in your company. We will have a lot to talk about when we finally get to meet. I am beginning to find more work, so perhaps I will have the income and time off this fall to take that trip to New York.

David Young:

Jena and Mary Ann thank you for your loyalty and love. It means so much. As for Ryan, I am sorry that you do not understand why I do what I do. But keep watching and maybe you will get it. I hope so.

S in PA:

Dar Judge David Young,

I love your show and I think you're fabulous!!

There's an article in today's London Times that you might want to take a look at - it's unfortunately a story about the decline in the penguin population. I didn't know whether you had seen it or not and though you might want to be made aware of it.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environment/article4232324.ece

Karen (Neff) Whitney:

David, Its so funny, everytime I saw your show, I just new it was you. I kept telling my friends, I know that guy. We went to school together since elementary. I enjoyed reading about your successes and wish you the best. Even prouder that you stand up for what you believe in and are not afraid to express it. Go class President, Karen

M. Harrington:

Judge Young,
Like so many others, I love you, too. BUT something about your courtroom demeanor really bothers me. I am not a bigot or a religious fanatic. I believe in God but I don't push it on others. I also have very close gay friends. What's bothering me is that it's very difficult for me to respect you as a judge, which I don't like because I know you are so passionate about being a judge. The thing is....we KNOW you're gay and we KNOW you're very happy and proud to be gay. I have no problem with that. I DO, however, have a problem with the sexual innuendos that you frequently make. I do not think those kinds of comments should be made in a courtroom. To me, it's very unprofessional. Nor does it help, when there ARE so many bigots, for you to keep throwing your lifestyle in their face. Yes, I am older, a grandmother, and I know things are different these days. But I still firmly believe that a judge should command respect. And they earn that respect by the way they comport themselves in a courtroom. TV or not. You're a wonderful judge. You don't need to make comments like that to make yourself more popular. Just be you, without the gay lifestyle references. It gets old. But, remember. I still love you! : )

JD.. I'd just like to remind your fans that they are watching re-runs.

One thing I would suggest is that the producers of the show run at the bottom of the screen the date of filming these episodes of JDY. I have noted a great maturity come over you as you get used to being behind television cameras . I can just imagine what the new season of JDY will be like with the changes. I will look forward to improvements from the earliest shows. You ought to be dynamite in your next season

shawn :

To those who have negative things to say about JDY,
all I Have to say to you is blah blah blah....We are entitled to our own opinions but next time...keep it to yourself. Save the space for someone else.
(snicker, snicker. LOL)

Lynze:

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lynze:

Hey, no new blogs since August of 07???? Ahhh What happened?

Mary Ann Fraser, Sawant:

JD, didn't I tell you that your friends and fans want you to write more. Please, take the advice I previously given you on myspace and start your blog. You can talk about current events, give your opinions on the news, changing society, and fill us in on all the excitemnt in your life.

Inquiring minds want to know! Ha, Ha....

CJ:

The man is all froth and no substance. As an openly gay man I would think that he would prefer merits based upon legal acumen and not stereotypical outlandish behavior. Grow up and refrain from your antics and quite possibly you will be taken more seriously. You are representative of our legal system and not your personal forum for idiocy.

Jesse:

I just wanted to thank you David for helping me overcome my sexuality issues. I've always known I was gay but I never wanted to admit it even to myself. I was so afraid that my friends and family would disown me. Would my male friends be afraid to hang around me? Would my parents kick me out? I was forced to live with these fears for years. But one day I saw your show and it gave me a burst of hope. I knew I could get through any wall that stood in my way. I'm only 16 but I'm the happiest I've ever been, thanks in part to you!
--Jesse--

Lynze:

OoOoH CJ!....if only you were a woman.... :-p

Enough of this sex crap talk already on this board!

David Please take this to heart that no matter what people think or say to you, or what Hollywood thinks of you, no one or no entity can take away what is inside of you. It's up to you to find it, and you still should be looking inside yourself, everyday. Because God is not done with you yet!

If anyone out there can't see the beautiful man you are from inside out, then they are not living themselves to the fullest. Did I say, beautiful Man, Oh I'm sorry, I must have met wonderful and Beautiful Man. So the next time you look into that mirror, never forget to look deep beyond your own reflection , and bring that to the surface.

Now I just also want to say that I did get to see you on "The Young & Restless". What you need is a more serious/real roll, not a make believe roll as you are not, I repeat, Not superficial.

JD, you are very photogenic in the sense of being someone who is real, and can play a real part in life and on camera. If acting is what you want to get into for a second career or even fun, do it right and use the opportunity for your true purpose in life. Don’t be afraid to show more emotion, and learn to become one with (what ever Character) you get the opportunity to play.
Let Hollywood know the man you really are deep inside, and then see the opportunities of acting open up to you.

Lynze:

ummmm... what sex crap?

SANDI JACOBY:

JUDGE DAVID,
CONGRATS ON YOUR EMMEY NOM. GOOD LUCK.
YOU ARE THE BEST

Sakhu:

Read Judge Christian's comment about the her emmy award from this blog site. I guess by her confession the viewing audience wasn't the only one in shock

"my initial reaction was a bit of disbelief and I truly said to myself: "Huh?"

"This win for "Cristina's Court" is evidence of our team's hard work and love of the law and people. The nominees were so diverse, and we were privileged to have been included among this group. "Judge Judy," "The People's Court" (the show that started it all), "Judge Hatchet" (a tribute to her community and the profession) and "Judge David Young," one who makes us think outside the box"

"Judge David Young," one who makes us think outside the box"

Now there's a graceful acceptance speech. Thank You Judge Christina!

Being so stumulating is only part of JD's nature, and why we watch.

Lynze:

Mary Ann Sawant---

I'm going to start this message out by apologizing for any vulgarity that may offend anyone in any way at all. Sadly, it has come to having to put a disclaimer on your own thoughts and opinions before you get them out.

If you saw "sex talk crap" ANYWHERE on this board you are obviously delusional. I was merely admiring CJ's ability to give constructive criticism and maintain sheer intellectuality throughout his entire comment. YOU however, seem to have managed to stick your head so far up JDY's ass, you fail to see anything else. You spend so much time on this board trying to be his PR rather than taking this for what it is. A BLOG! Nothing more, Nothing less! I mentioned that there hasn't been a new blog in awhile, and you came out with an "I told you so" related comment shortly after. Anytime anyone says something bad about him, you feel the constant need to hold his hand and argue with whomever has previously posted. I find this extremely annoying, and have to admit, I used to read this blog religiously, but your are slowly pushing me away from it.
Please read comments more carefully before you respond back with your snooty remarks. And for the record... "no comment" is a horrible reply to anything. Would have been better for you to say nothing at all.

Mary Ann Sawant:

Lynze I would like to quote you and make a correction ......

"If you saw "sex talk crap" ANYWHERE on this board you are obviously delusional. I was merely admiring CJ's ability to give constructive criticism and maintain sheer intellectuality throughout his entire comment. YOU however, seem to have managed to stick your head so far up JDY's ass, you fail to see anything else"

Lynze, What makes you think I was referring to you? The "No Comment" part was meant for JD, who is capable more then you of understanding my comments and the reasons why I comment.

JD and I are very good friends. So take "Your vulgarity", and go elsewhere.

M. Harrington:

So, Mary Ann, since you are such good friends with Judge Young, what do you think (and, therefore, I'm assuming what HE would think) about my comments above pertaining to his professionalism in the courtroom. Since he's not responding, I'll ask you: is he being unprofessional? I haven't watched him lately so, as you said, maybe he's better now. I'm just curious what your opinion is. To take this respect part further, I also think that Judge Miliano??? is bringing herself down by wanting to be known as "the hottest judge on TV". That sounds ridiculous and should have no connection with her being a judge.

I DO respect Judge Young enough, by the way, to address him as such, instead of JD, JDY, or even David. I think he deserves that.

Mary Ann Sawant:

Dear M. Harrington,

I would like to quote you , and comment.

"The thing is....we KNOW you're gay and we KNOW you're very happy and proud to be gay. I have no problem with that. I DO, however, have a problem with the sexual innuendos that you frequently make. I do not think those kinds of comments should be made in a courtroom. To me, it's very unprofessional. Nor does it help, when there ARE so many bigots, for you to keep throwing your lifestyle in their face."

To tell you the truth, I myself have written a personal letter to Judge David about this. I can tell you I am very straight forward in what I write to my friend. Since we've become very good friends, I have notice, and I don't mind stating this where JD can read it, that he has grown-up considerably over the short time that he has been on television. He takes his roll as celebrity judge very passionately, and he's trying his best to get past the stereotype of a gay mentality. He is no way "Camp", however, he puts it on once in a while to show an emotional side of being a gay man. This is what I mean by being real. He does consider the pain and hurt of others in his rulings, not many judges in our courts give a hoot about the litigants. JD is different in this respect while remaining professional and un-bias . Very few judges in our state courts greet both plaintiff's and defendants in a civil and friendly manner.

As for Judge Miliano??? Before Judge David I use to watch her all the time along with Judge Alex Ferrer. The term "Hot" is just used for television hipe by the people who run the show to get the advertising dollars from all these commercials you see. This is how the judges get paid by television commercials which sponsor them. It's basically the way the show is advertised. Judge David's show is commercially advertised to bring in dollars from sponsors
which in turn pay for all appearences by both Plaintiff and defendants, and why the show is run free of charge to the public. Everybody is happy as long as the sponsors keep coming, Everyone is happy, so enjoy the show .

S in PA:

Hi, Judge,

More bad news about penguins - from a non-USA paper, of course:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1034590/The-baby-Antarctic-penguins-frozen-death-freak-rain-storms.html

Sorry for the unhappy news, but I hope all is well with you.

M. Harrington:

TO S in PA,

I'm thinkin' that Judge Young is either too busy, or has lost interest in this site. It's been a long time since he's been on it. Or commented, anyway.

Lynze:

Nah, M Harrington, I'm thinking Mary Ann Sawant has taken over it for him, or likes to think she has. Give it a month, she'll scare everyone off.

Mary Ann Sawant:

Hey Judge David! My Friend,,,

Do you think I should tell them where you've been? Or do you want to tell them why you haven't been on this blog lately?
I find their comments quite funny, don't you?

Mary Harrington:

Lynze honey, I don't care who answers, as long as we get SOME communication. I, too, wondered why Mary Ann was answering for him but she says they're good friends. Okay, with me. Except, like you, I'd rather have him.

But that shouldn't make you or anyone else so upset with her - to the point of getting nasty about it. Your comments started out well, but then the more you wrote, the more irate you got. Sometimes, it's better to quit while you're ahead. It turns people against you, instead of bringing on a friendly on-line discussion. I'm not putting you down. I'm just trying to tell you that that's not the way to get along in life. I'm assuming you're young. Am I correct? Just curious. :)

Lynze:

Mary Harrington-

I don't think being young has much to do with it. More or Less, tired. I work 12 hours a day and have been sick for the last 3 weeks, by the end of the day I just have no patience left I suppose. When I come on here to read peoples comments, and occasionally comment back, It's irritating to see this woman responding to everyones comments, as is she is representing him publicly. Just because she is his "myspace friend" does not mean she needs to take over his blog, and try to chase other ppl off... especially people who have been here longer than she has. So yes I may have gone a little far, and I apologize. As far as turning people against me, I just don't care anymore :(

Mary Ann Sawant:

Lynze: I'm not answering for Judge David. I simply answered a question from Mary Harrington which she addressed to me, which is....

"Since he's not responding, I'll ask you: is he being unprofessional? I haven't watched him lately so, as you said, maybe he's better now. I'm just curious what your opinion is."

Lynze, Mary Harrington asked for my opinion and I gave it, and since I am in the "grass roots" of the advertising business, I think I am also qualified to answer her concern about the image which is pushed on Judge Marilyn.

Judge David,

Please let me know after reading my comments and theirs if you think I am wrong for posting my views and if you think I am "out of my place" for doing so.

Lynze,you wrote:

"So yes I may have gone a little far, and I apologize. As far as turning people against me, I just don't care anymore"

Lynze I accepted your apology. However, I dare not speak for Judge David on this matter nor other matters. JD knows I would never do this. However try to curb your inner fustrations from long hours at work with doing something constructive. Find something more meaningful in your life then just public message boards like this.

Judge David will be back shortly. There is a good reason for his long abscence, and it has nothing to do with me posting here.

M. Harrington:

Ha!Ha!Ha! I'm laughing, Lynze, because I KNOW what you were thinking when you saw Mary Ann's response - "And there she is, AGAIN!" or something like that. ; ) Working 12 hours a day is bad enough, without being sick along with it. I hope you're feeling better. I certainly know what it's like to "lash out" when you're tired and irritable because I do that, too, sometimes (my poor husband!). Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing from Judge Young when he gets back. I have been watching his show and have noticed he's more professional. But he hasn't lost that mischievous twinkle in his eye.

M. Harrington:

Lynze: I finally went back and read ALL the comments on this page - one, by the way, being that Mary Ann has never even met the Judge, which was surprising : ) - but something else I read was about your pitbull, Angelo. I just want to tell you how sorry I am. I volunteer at the Humane Society here and am sooo drawn to all the pitbulls that come in (and, believe me, there are a lot of them) because they have so many strikes against them, just because of their breed. I always ask people why they don't hate the owners who MAKE pitbulls mean, instead of the breed, but rarely get an answer.

I know that Judge Young is an animal lover so I hope that when he has cases involving pitbulls, he won't automatically assume they're at fault. He, of all people, should know what it feels like to be "hated" just because of who you are. I've seen judges on other shows immediately make comments about how dangerous it is to own a pitbull and I just want to reach through the screen and slap them because that is so unfair. Most pitbulls are intelligent, loving, and loyal dogs, until they get in the wrong hands, through no fault of their own. The problem is, we only hear the bad stories involving them, not to mention the rappers and others who glorify them for the wrong reasons. And the price pitbulls pay for that is a death sentence.

Okay. I'm off my soap box now.

Mary Ann Sawant:

Dear M. Harringoton

Funny we have a lot in common. I too lash out at my hubby at times but only when things get really crazy in our lives. A long marriage does that to people. I like reading your comments, even though Judge David is not here yet to join in the party.
Take Care,
Mary Ann

Lynze:

Oh, M Harrington. I know exactly what you mean about pitbulls. It really doesn't make it any easier with public figures promoting fear of them either. Pitbulls used to be the most popular family dog, until people decided they were better off fighting. The same fear has been instilled about rottweilers, dobermans, the occasional german shepard, basically anything that looks like it could protect you, is dumped on. I have a 5 year old Rottweiler/Black lab mix now, 120 lb dog, the owners were going to drown her as a puppy because she was a runt, and her mother would not feed her, so I stole her, and bottle fed her from about a week old. Now she's my big Saydie-Bear. Stopped someone from trying to break into my house, while we were all in the house. But the same "vicious" guard dog, will tip toe around my 3 month old son, and run and get her toys so she can "trade" him for his. It really is prejudice, just the same... no different just because its a dog but ppl don't see it that way. Still got some pictures of Angelo. Have email??
Well off to work... Have a good day
Lynze

M. Harrington:

Mary Ann, thank you for the compliment about my comments. I'm still patiently waiting for our special guest to join the party, as you put it!

And Lynze, what a wonderful/sad story about Saydie. Wonderful for what you did; sad doesn't describe what I think about her previous callous owners. As in, I would LOVE to do away with all owners like them, but Judge Young wouldn't agree with that. Or at least, he wouldn't be able to save my butt if I did. :D But, this is his web site so I don't want to change that by talking about dogs. I could do that forever. I'd love to see pictures of Angelo but I don't want to put my e-mail address here for everybody to see. I'm sure you understand that. You have a great day, too.

Hellooooo Judge Young!!! Are you back yet???? : )

Mary Ann Sawant:

While we are on the subjects of animals. Back in May I noticed a beautiful six month old kitten, wandering around in our apartment driveway. He looked thin, and barely had the strength to meow for food. I thought it was a female kitten, but after a day, I was relieved to find the kitten was a nurtured male that either was lost or tossed out in the street, as I can’t afford the hefty vet bill at this time. When I brought him in he weighed at 8 pounds, now in just two months with all the food, love and attention he's healthy and active, indoor cat at 15 pounds. No one posted for the kitty in our area, and I'm glad I rescued him in the nick of time before the heat wave here.

If animals are mistreated, they turn on people out of fear for their own lives. If you want a perfect dog or cat, or bird even, be the perfect owner. Mistreatment of animals should be a serious crime in this country. It should be considered as serious as child abuse or neglect, and punishment should fit the crime. It is a shame Americans are made to put down their pets out of public fear. It’s all due to brainwashing. What is needed is for officials to look into the behavior of these pet owners before authorities decide to put down a Doberman, or German Shepard. Prosecute “The Cause” of the animal’s bad behavior, not the effect. Judge David, I hope you are taking notes on this subject in case you get any more cases regarding animal behavior in your court room.

BTW, Judge David is back but needs to rest up. He's a man who is always on the go so please be patient Everyone has been concern where he has been from what I've been reading.

David Young:

I'm back! Seems like there has been a great deal of discussion since I was away (had a wonderful time by the way). Lynze--hope your feeling better.
Pitball, like a poodle can be bred to be killers. Like children, we are all a product of our envirnment. Now let's all sing why can't we be friends! Hugs to all!

My friends, wait til you see Season #2. I think you all will like the changes!

Mary Ann Sawant:

JD, you try to be so diplomatic. Thanks.
Talk later...MA.

David Young:

Jesse, I am glad that you realize that your sexual orientation should not be a bar to your happiness. Through hard work and dedication you can achieve great success. Shoot for the stars!

David Young:

S in PA, thanks for the links. I believe that we need to make the envirnment one of the issues that our politicians be held accountable on. Instead of worrying about a lapel pin, Sen. McCain and Obama should be talking about the future of our planet.

Mary-thank you for your comments. They are much appreciated.
Sakhu--Christina is not only a classy lady, she is a wonderful person (we are becoming good friends). I was very happy for her win. Sandy--thanks for the congrats--as they say in Chicago, "wait til next year." :)

BTW, anyone see my acating debut on Young and the Restless? Comments please.

Mary Ann:

JD. About the Y&R episode you were on July 11th. I left a message regarding your appearance on July 12th. I hope you've had the opportunity to read it.

I just wanted to add that I was seriously disappointed in the show because they did not put you in the credits, and they did not give you a proper, respectful exit in the final scene. They cut your part so short I could just screem. I don't think I will watch that show ever again, I think the should have been given some coaching in acting prior to filming.

Oh well we will talk about this more in person when we meet in NYC.

M. Harrington:

Hi Judge Young. It looks like everybody has vacated the premises but I'll check in now and then. I hope you will, too. :)

Just wanted to say thank you for putting the skids on Ashley's "audition" today (Wednesday, 8/6). Although I wish you had said something earlier! ;D She was really irritating and clearly acting for the cameras. Although her outfit wasn't nearly as bad as some I've seen on other shows, her behavior was childish and very distracting. So, two questions for you: Pertaining to this particular show, since she had nothing to add to the testimony, why didn't you have her sit down? The other question pertains to proper attire in the the courtroom. Are there any guidelines put in writing before they appear on the show?

Thank you for taking the time to answer. I love you. I love your show. :)

David Young:

M. Harrington, thank you for the comment. I don't remember the show so I can't answer the first question (I'm sorry). As for the second question, we have wardrobe for those who need it. The professionals make those decisions. THANK YOU for watching and being a fan. Are u on facebook or myspace? We can become friends!! My best, David

Mary Harrington:

Well, David - may I call you David, since we seem to be progressing from acquaintances to friends? ; ) - I'll have to think about your last question. If we go to myspace, it'll be you, me, and 500 of your closest friends. However, if I stay here, it appears I'll have you all to myself. Now, really. If you were me, which would YOU choose? :D

Lynze:

LoL Mary are you flirting??? Come on, hop on board the JDY myspace train already :-p

David Young:

True Mary, but what happens if they discontinue this forum for me? I want to make sure that I don't lose you (or Lynze for that matter). And yes, please call me David. Have a great weekend! Love, David

Mary Harrington:

And where were you, Lynze girl? Peeking around the corner????? :D Yes, I'm a good example of never being too old to flirt. Ha!

Okay. I'm a....mature adult, let's say, remember? So I have a myspace page, set up by my daughter, but I rarely use it because I don't know that much about it. But I DID make an attempt to get on David's myspace. We'll see if it worked!

Lynze:

My son has been sick lately, and cutting teeth :( Work has been crazy but finally starting to settle down a little. So, I suppose if you decide to go myspace crazy Ms Mary. you can always add me as well. I would be Skittlz23. And BTW JDY How is Wanda doing? I haven't heard any updates.

MA:

JD, I just wanted to say, that it's not that easy to get tickets for the show as it sounds. I have been trying for a while. I'll try again by end of the week. OH Well.

David Young:

Hi all! Sorry I haven't written in a bit. Been busy taking care of my mother.Lynze, Wanda is doing better (she was home for the day on Saturday. MA, let me send me a message on facebook or Myspace with you phone number and I will have someone call you back. Off to NYC to finish taping for season #2. Love and thanks to you all, David

oger:

I've noticed that Tawya always give her opinion with a disgusting look by rolling her eyes. Occasionally she even crossed her arms to further emphasize her opinion. Is that how a professional court security suppose to act? Tawya's behavior reminds me of uneducated teenagers and not to mention it gives me a wth reaction. If this is a reality show, shouldn't it portray reality? But you were great Judge David Young; the best part of your show is the ending explanation of every decision.

Charles FOrd:

Today as usual the real sweety judge made another
stupid ruling.IT WAS NOT RIGHT.A judge goes by the law and not feelings.A woman brought receipts
showing she paid for gas etc. NO co-signing etc.
HOw did the judge know all those bills were accurate? he didn't.He even stated."YOU should have hit him with a 2x4.and then made him pay.Of course being like he is, what does he know about morals.

Tim:

Hey,

I watched your show for the first time today, and I must say- thanks for the laughs! I think it's great what you are doing. I'm sure being in the spotlight as an openly gay male isn't easy.

Your newest fan!

Tim

Lynze:

Wow Charles... this is where Jenna would step in and call you a Bigot Bitch, since she isn't here... I'm going to do it for her.

Jena Simons:

Lynze, you took the words out of my mouth sister. Bet the closet case won't be voting for Obama. You know girlfriend that Charlie is a closet case. Come on Charlie-boy come out come out wherever you are you self hating gay man you.

Lynze:

YAY Jena's back! :) lmao missed ya girl!

Mary Ann:

Hey Charles,
You obviously don't pay much attention to what's going on. You tend to take Judge David's comments a bit to litteral. Lighten up! JD hates it when a man uses a women, and he also hates women taking advantage of men. In court he sees more women made into a "Fool", then he does a man and this makes his blood boil. Thanks JD for standing up for women in your court room.

David Young:

Oger-Thanks for watching and enjoying the show. I hope your not going to be too dissappointed that in Season #2 I do not do "off the bench" . I do appreciate your watching and you candid comments--really I do.

Tim--Am so happy you are my newest fan! THANK YOU!

Charles-- I can only hope that one day you will look back and say to yourself, isn't it silly not to like someone because of their sexual orientation. Please keep watching (I am sure you will) and maybe I can help you overcome your prejudices (I hope I can).

Jena, Lynze and MaryAnn--David's angels!!

Would love to hear everyone's feedback on Season #2! Thank you all for making this possible (yes even you Charles).

My best to the best fans, David

Che Che:

I discovered the show about 6 weeks ago. I loved the old format but this new season is already tiresome after only three episodes! It feels very artificial, with the music, lighting, etc. Old format had a quicker pace, sometimes two cases in one episode; there was much less filler and shorter commercial breaks. All court shows are a parody of real courts, but this new format is way too cheesy. Makes Jury Duty look like the US Supreme Court (don't go there!). And please, drop the baby-momma-daddy cases!!! Jerry Springer meets the People's Court. Ugh. *puke*

David Young:

Che Che--thank you for your opinion. I will share it with the producers. Please keep watching. There are many several different types of cases this season. Variety is the spice of life!

Che Che:

Judge Young - thanks for your response! *kisses* I love your passionate, effervescent yet balanced approach, which seems overshadowed by the mundane theatrics of presenting DNA and lie detector test evidence. I want to see you and the litigants, not technicians! ;)

If I may humbly suggest, how about cases where you grant a "short recess" so litigants may gather additional evidence if needed? I've seen cases where one party seems sincere in their claim crucial evidence is available that may sway your opinion.

Set a specific time frame, say 24 or 48 hours, with the sworn assurance it will be gathered from reliable and verifiable sources - at their own expense. Warn them they face additional penalties if they waste the court’s time. I've often wondered how the opposing party would react if you granted this privilege! Perhaps even dropping the case in the face of this evidence? Who knows, eh?

David Young:

Che Che, thank you for your interesting suggestions. I will forward them to my Executive Producer next week (I read him your email to me). Have a wonderful weekend my friend/fan! Big Hugs, David

Marlie:

I loved season #1 and season #2 is even better!! I love the new things that you have added but will miss seeing you "off the bench."

Mary Ann:

JD, I think with this DNA testing we get to see a softer, more mature male side of you, which is quite impressive. I have watched other Judge shows that handle the DNA, and I don't really see any emotion behind the bench. I suppose in federal court it would be "Cut Throat" to be yourself, but now you can be who you really are in public, and in the court with all the drama.

You are a man who is not afraid to let his feeling show, and I commend you for this. This is why you are so very special.

Jo Mack:

The case of the waitress who was injured in a bar fight(case heard on TV 22/09/2008) The lie detector question"did you throw a punch". Of course she did so would I if I was in the middle of a fight. The question should not have been worded as it was and if this method of obtaining the true is going to be used DO IT CORRECTLY.

David Young:

Thanks Jo. That question was a bit silly. But, overall, how do you like the new stuff? Thank you for watching. Best, David

Jo Mack:

Thanks for your reply.I can't watch you always but when I do I enjoy it. I don't often write comments but I just got sort of upset about the bar fight thing.

best to you.

Sakhu:

Hello....Che Che,
You wrote,

I thought this suggestion was kind of funny. You certainly show you've never been inside a real small claim court. The idea is for both sides to come prepared and not waste the courts time. What you are suggesting they do is waste precious time which may run an additional expense. In the mean time think of all the poor people waiting to get behind the door of justice, Wouldn't the court be robbing them of their precious time Judge David started doing this? It takes so long in the real world to get your day in court. You'd better come prepared with witness, and all the facts.

You also forget this is court TV, reality Television, the show takes place on a set. Big money goes into each episode, and it would not be fair to the sponsors for Judge David to grant such privledge under any circumstances.

BOXER:

PLEASE PLEASE DONT BECOME A WHOS THE
DADDY SHOW.

ITS WRONG , ITS WRONG ITS WRONG

LEAVE THAT TO M. POVITCH

Sakhu:

Hi Boxer,
In some ways I agree with you. Murry Provich devotes a great deal of his shows to "Who the daddy is", and I think he's loosing viewers because of it.

However, Judge David gets behind the tragic lives to a certain extent of these people, and really show a personal yearning to help. He shows more wisdom, and more caring than all of them. And most of all he's keep's it real about himself on camera. When Judge David has something to say you can be darn sure people take it to heart and try to live a better life.

Roman Chylia:

Hello ,Mr.Young !
I watch Your show sporadically - I am not really
that much interested in Your comments , verdicts
or Your embarrasingly over-theatrical bailiff .
The main reason I watch the show is to see for
what idiotic reasons are people actually suing each other. To watch these people truly believe
that they will get justice (with capital letters)
from You on televised show really amazes me.
I watched the show in which two lesbians did
not pay the rent to the landlord and eventually
You judged in their favor 4000 dollars - if I re-
member it correctly. I am not questioning Your decision , even if I might disagree with it. But
what stuck in my mind was the moment when the ac-
cused stated that some of his friends were black
(I don't know if I am "politically correct ").
The comment You made - plus of course overreacting
facial expression of the bailiff - was that it was
from the defendant an extremely rasistic statement
- I honestly to this day fail to comprehend , how
possibly can be such statement rasistic . I admit
to be maybe slow , but my IQ is still higher than my age . I love jazz . I love rock music . To say
that I love Miles Davis makes me a rasist ? One of
my most favorit bands is Jethro Tull. Their flute
player and main composer Ian Anderson is jewish .
If I say that I truly admire his music and I wish
to be his friend makes me anti-semite ?..
I do not really expect You answering me , but
maybe You will descend from Your honorable stardom
and write to me - even if I am just such a plain
niemand . You have my e-mail address.
roman

David Young:

Thank you all for your comments. I want you to know that I do read them and appreciate that you took the time to write.
Boxer, I don't think I handle the DNA cases like Mr. Povitch. There are valuable lessons to be learned and re-inforced. Hopefully, I am doing a good job on both fronts. Sakhu, you get it ( for which I am grateful). Roman, I don't have your email address, so I can not answer your email personally--I'm sorry about that. I don't know what was edited from the show, but it was very clear that the Defendant has some serious issues.
I have always found that education and exposure are the best ways to overcome intolerence. Don't you agree. My best to all of you, David

Steve:

Mr. Young,

I don't care if you are gay, straight, purple or alien. What I do care about is your apparent acceptance of a statutory rapist and his past 13 year old victim. "TT" was the girl's name.

What is wrong with you, and was that why you could no longer practice actual law? Were your decisions called into question? I can believe it, and will be researching your ruling history.

When it comes to ruling on matters of law you are borderline criminal and should be yanked from the airwaves as soon as possible.

Sincerely,
-Steve

PS: Good luck with you and your partner. In that respect I wish you nothing but good things.

Stan Eisenberg:

I totally agree with steve. in today's society where we can no longer trust anyone in "power" it is sad to see a tv judge condone a rapist.

David Young:

Wait a minute Steve and Stan... Me, condone a rapist? What in the world are you talking about? Give me some more info and I will review the tape of the show. Remember, all the shows are edited..So, in all fairness guys, let me find out what case you are talking about (when did it air) and I will give you a response. Promise!

Sakhuluv:

Dear Judge David,
Regarding Steve and Stand's message, comments like this only goes to show that the editing of the show is done poorly. I did see the show, and to Steve and Stand you must have taken a bathroom break, or mixed your Wheaties with beer 'cause you certainly were not paying attention.

steve:

The show, sir, I was speaking about aired the 22nd (earlier this week), and involved the older gentleman who first started having sex with "TT's" mom (I believe the child's actual name was Tionne or something similar) when the mother was only 13. After a cursory admonition at the beginning of the show where you (with a smile on your face) said almost in passing that what he did wasn't right, by the end of the show you seemed like you were trying to get them together because they declared their love for one another. What appalled me was that this "love" started when he was an adult and she was 13. She didn't have a chance to grow up as a well-adjusted person.

My sister was molested as a child by a close family friend and it changed our family's life forever. I have very strong feelings about rapists, and people who steal a child's innocence and affect the way they view the world and the opposite sex forever.

That is what I have a problem with. I firmly believe this person should have been taken to task by you, on air, for what he did to this lady when she was a child. It never happened.

Sakhuluv: I watched every second, and before you speak please know what you are speaking about.

David Young:

Steve, I will have them send me the copy of the show. Rest assured, you will hear from me after I review the show. Thank you for the alert.

Maureen:

I love judge shows and I really like this judge. The thing I don't like about this show is the 'game show' format. For example, when lie dector results are being given we get DA DA DAA music, the lights dim except for one spot light on the victim. Then we get background music, not unlike 'Who Wants to be a Millionare", and those awful pregnant pauses between questions and answers. I love this judge, as I said, but find this format most annoying and in the wrong place.

Sakhuluv:

JD, I'm really laughing. Maureen actually is making a good point. I'm not annoyed by it like her, but now that I thing about it, it is kind of funny to watch.

Maureen:

You know what?
I think I was being a bit too harsh in my comment, two up. To say that I found what I call the game format 'MOST annoying' is too strong really. I watch and enjoy the show each day if I am home, lets just say 'annoying' :O)

Lynze:

Maureen, if you think your comment was a bit harsh, you must not have read some of the others on this blog. But I have to say I agree with both of them. The show seems to have gotten less real, and more show biz. Praying for your mom JD, hang in there hun.

Steve:

It's been a bit after Mr. Young has said he would review an episode where he was "matchmaker" between an adult rapist and his victim. I'm still awaiting a response, after Mr. Young said he would "get the tapes and review". I actually know folks who work for the show, and I have to say - tapes are available to the folks who are the subject of a show. Actually, "tapes" are available within hours.

I'm still awaiting the rapist's apparent best friend, Judge Young, to respond.

Folks, this man whether because of his publisists or his agent, isn't being responsive. This is due to a person who cannot justify his actions on national television.

One more judge, one DANGEROUS judge. Please, people, do not give this man a reason to do what his agent set his show up to do. It is extremely hollywood (lower case "h"), and it is wrong. Mr. Young is making a terrible legacy for anyting he purports to espouse.

I want justice for my sister. It's not going to happen with the legal system since the "time" it takes to file anything in this matter has expired. Welcome to our justice system. And, welcome to another person making decisions that don't matter but DO OFFEND.

Mr. Young - have you found your VCR in the last week or so?

Sincerely,
-Steve

Mary Ann:

Steve, you really got your head stuck in the gutter. Didn't you read Lynze's last comment that she is praying for Judge David's mother?

Talk about sickening. Boy you don't let up, Do you? Judge David has the option to review these post before he allows them to be publically displayed, but he prefers to let this be an open discussion unlike some other Judges on these blogs which I've noticed will not allow free speech or ideas to pursue here. I think he has taken enough of your low, uninformed criticism.

You are one viewer who obviously.....

DOES NOT GET IT, SO....BEAT IT!

Jena Simons:

Go F yourself Steve. You are a complete asshole. Judge David's mother is dying. You are really an irrational piece of lowlife crap and I hope he doesn't respond. He is too good for you. BTW Judge David my prayers are with you and your mom. Love you...

Steve:

Mr. Young,

I didn't know about your mother. I grieve for her, and hope that she is comfortable and at peace. I just lost my own dad a few months ago to cancer (2 weeks before my 41st birthday). It is a terrible time in someone's life, and I sincerely hope that your family gains strength from one another.

Your last few cheerleaders, obviously, haven't had to go through what I have (rapist affecting a family) - with a sister who still isn't right even today. I guess this post is more for them than for you - fans that cannot go emotionally to a mature place where ratings and television mean little but impressions and integrity last forever, really can't speak intelligently about the subject. I would hope you would agree.

Your last two cheerleaders aside, I am still interested in why a judge supported a rapist. I am a truth-seeker, and will not be assuaged. God bless your family - ALL of your family.

Sincerely,
-Steve

Steve:

Jena,

Go G yourself, too (next letter after F, and with all the respect you obviously have for people - no, I really mean that!). What the heck are you talking about? Do you even know, past your infatuation with a television judge who is making a mockery of the justice system? I am speaking to a specific instance, and while Mr. Young has many good qualities, he failed miserably in this one instance.

You write like a teenager who is infatuated with a television judge. Restraining orders are given for much less. I read Gilligan's Island's spokesperson (Mary Ann's) response. Both of you are sickening, obviously cannot think beyond dinner and need to be "cuddled". I'm sorry if my harsh, realistic words "hurt" you. Please don't go to bed tonight knowing the bad, honest person won't hurt you. Honest! That would be so, well, adolescent.

DO YOU KNOW THE EPISODE IN QUESTION? Mr. Young may make extremely intelligent decisions usually, but when it came to this ONE case he failed miserably, utterly, and borderline criminally. The statute was up for statutory rape, so Mr. Young evidently made a decision to try to "set them up". If you, Jena, have younger siblings then I hope you never have to go through what I have. And, if you have siblings who had their childhood ripped from them then I think I have several phone numbers I can forward to you for groups that want to help. Although, they really don't help.

Do you support a 20 year old having sex with a 13 year old? The 13 year old gets pregnant, and the only person left as an advocate(evidently becuase no one said anything)to sort this out was Mr. Young, WHO WAS TRYING TO SET THEM UP TOGETHER BY THE END OF THE SHOW? Do you really support adults having sex with children? And, adults who condone it? What is wrong with you, as well, Jena?

Do we now support criminals in the name of ratings? TELEVISION LEGAL ARBITRATORS SHOULD NOT SUPPORT CRIMINALS ! ! ! If people think differently, then this nation is truly in trouble.

Sincerely,
-Steve

PS: At least I didn't use the word "asshole" to describe you. Your words spoke volumes, and I never meant anything to be personal. I was speaking for my sister.

Mary Ann:

Steve, Do you have a father that loves you? If so, you are one of the few lucky ones. You have to consider that the Statue of Limitations is there to determine if the act was done in consent. Sex between a minor and an adult is RAPE, only if the child was in under a certain age. If your sister was molested as a teenager the State courts would have to determine if it was a mutual attraction, or a violent crime against a minor. If your sister had a baby by your family’s friend and her life as you claim is ruined because of it, then maybe your sister realized her mistake, and regrets her consent in the act. In any rate, your parents should have pressed charges and not let the statue of limitations roll by if they thought that their daughter’s life was truly ruined as you state.

The statue of limitations is there on Statutory Rape because the State is not open to cruelly taking a child’s parent away and locking them up at the tax payers expense. They don’t want to break up families like this if the child can be cared for by it’s own loving parents and given a good environment. The State also does not like to take children away from their parents and put them in foster care where anything can happen to them at the tax payers expense. The statue of limitations on Statutory Rape was devised as way for parents of the minor to collect damages. The offender was usually put in jail until the child turned of legal age, unlike a violent non consented rape which is a felon and can put the person found guilty of such an act away for an average of 15 years. The statue of limitations for violent rape is much longer. The Statutory Rape law was enacted long before the States ran “Dead Beat Parents” strikes, which gives jail time to a father or a mother for not paying child support. Which goes to show laws are enacted to make sex a responsible act, regardless of the ages between partners.

If your sister was molested as a child by a close family friend, why then didn't your parent come forth and put charges on the family friend? There is nothing to think about when a child gets raped, nor when an adult gets raped either. Both circumstances call for immediate action. Otherwise it is viewed by the courts as consented to. Judge David saw that the women and man loved each other, and that there may be have been the possibility that the defendant fathered her child. The women even though she had consented to him at the age of 13, and under law it is viewed as Statutory Rape, all this means is that someone has to claim damages. If no damages were brought forth to the courts, no rape charges can be later claimed. You also have to realize that the plaintiff had the child as an adult. She did not get pregnant at 13, but later got together again with the defendant after she became of legal age and from that point she was not sure who the father was. I have a copy of that episode, and I watched it very carefully again. You are way out of line in your criticism of Judge David Young.

I don’t think Gilligan’s Island “Mary Ann” can even think beyond her pig tails and lip stick.

Judge David,
Don't change yourself one bit. First and foremost we are human beings. We all have hearts. We hurt and we cry. Nobody is perfect.
We should look beyond the labels. Black/white, gay/straight, rich/poor, Republican/Democrats, etc.
Noone deserves to be talked down to or yelled at.
I have to admit that the lie detector format is cold & very "Jerry Springer" like. I thought when you stepped down to talk to the audience was very personable. Something other TV judges don't do. Judges can uphold the law & be human at the same time. David, you seem like a person who does not follow the crowd. We are not programmable robots. Courtrooms belong to the people. Judges perform a public service. They are in the public view and should lead by example.

Lie detectors

Did I say they are wrong?
They are wrong, they are wrong. they are wrong.
Leave that to Jerry Springer & Maury Povich.

If anyone chooses to criticize you David, then they must be without personal fault.
People without sin shouldn't be quick to judge.
Just keep it real & work it.

Taylorsmommie:

I've been trying unsuccessfully to find a place to air my opinion on the question of the day "Should guns be allowed in homes with children?" Judge Young, I think this story tells it all. http://www.news-leader.com/article/20081111/NEWS01/811110348/1007/NEWS01
Here is the link to this precious two year olds' obituary: http://php.news-leader.com/Announcements/ObitView.php?NoticeID=46764&NoticeDate=2008-11-11&Keyword=
This incident happened a few days ago in a nearby town. I can't imagine the anguish that these parents will have to live with for the rest of their lives. This didn't happen with the deputy's service revolver, it was a personal weapon. I saw the question on your show today, and felt compelled to send this to you.

sandra mcnamara:

I absolutely love Judge Young. He is funny, fair, kind hearted, and most of all...not afraid to be 'real'. GO JUDGE DAVID YOUNG.

shawn:

David,
You said that you hoped that the lie detector test segments would grow on me. Well, only Mr. Rivera has grown on me...A LOT!!! Let him know he has a big fan. Also, I've been writing a novel and he would be the one who could answer my questions. Accuracy and reality are vitally important to me in being a successful author. Health issues prevent me from getting out of bed and asking Mr. Rivera is the easiest route to go as of right now.
If you can help me out...Thanx...if not, oh well. You're still the greatest even if your show is on at 3 a.m.

Shawn

shawn:

P.S. David,

I can't promise not to kill off the judge. LOL. Because sometimes you just gotta go where the story takes you even if it's not where you intended to go when you started.

XOXOX Shawn XOXOX

The suspense is killing me...just kidding.

shawn:

Dear David,
You know it's hard to be a fan at 3 a.m. But I still am. When does the new season start, anyways? How about a little behind the scenes with the lie detector guy? I wanna see how he does that stuff!! Please don't get sucked up into the D.N.A. stuff! Leave that to Maury or Judge Hatchett. It would be a shame and a great waste of your precious time and knowledge.
My best to you and Mr. Rivera. Your still the best in my book.
Shawn XOXOXO

Sakhu:

Dear Judge David,

Please add Mahadeo as your friend on myspace. I got locked out of myspace for some reason but my account is still there. Please address any correspondance to me at Mahadeo's myspace.

THANKS

David,

I just came across an episode that i had missed. I can't remember what it was about at the moment but I do remember your wittiness. You are such a character, in a good way that is, and you have a gorgeous smile. my best to you on the new season. Still don't like the lie detector segments, just Mr. Rivera....hehe
Could you add me to your myspace page. I've got something to ask you....not for the whole world to see. thank XOXOXO

I missed your Show that aired in Washington, DC. on Wednesday, 4/23/09 which was a continuation from the previous day. A young man who had been searching for his Biological parents had encountered his mother and his father. A DNA tests was to be performed to determine if these were his true Biological Parents.

What was the results of these tests. Where these his true mother and father?

Thanks.
