Arthur Sando
Arthur Sando is recognized as one of the top communications executives in the media industry. His global experience encompasses Internet services, broadcast and cable television, professional sports, telecommunications, politics, film production and nonprofit foundations. He is a skilled public spokesperson with expertise in crisis communications and public policy, and is counselor to high-profile personalities
Fluent in new and traditional media, Sando is CEO of Sando Communications, a Los Angeles-based consultancy. Before that, he was Acting SVP, Communications for ION Media Networks.
Prior to that Sando was SVP, Communications for CBS Enterprises (now CBS Television Distribution); SVP, Corporate Communications for King World Productions; and VP Corporate Affairs for Comsat Corporation
He is also credited with founding and building the PR department of Turner Broadcasting System, where he began as the company’s first PR Director and rose to become VP, Marketing and Communications. Sando began his career as a radio and television news reporter and anchor, and then served as Press Secretary to a member of the US House of Representatives.
Sando is also a recipient of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association’s President’s Award.
