ABC’s ‘Bachelorette’ Has Rosy Season Finale

“The Bachelorette” banked a summer season high with Monday night’s season finale, up almost a full ratings point from last week’s rating.
ABC dominated the night with “Bachelorette” (3.3/10) and the special “After the Rose” (3.6/10), giving ABC a 3.4 rating/10 share for the night in the preliminary Nielsen data among 18- to 49-year-olds.
Fox and CBS tied for second with repeats, raking in a 2.1 rating/6 share.
NBC was fair with an average “American Gladiators” (1.9/6), while “Nashville Star” (1.5/4) drooped 17% from its summer average. “Dateline” posted a 1.8/5, giving NBC a fourth-place finish with a 1.7 rating/5 share.
The CW was fifth with a 0.5 rating/1 share.
