July 9, 2008 1:01 PM

Wipeout

“Hell’s Kitchen” sliced and diced past “Wipeout” as Tuesday’s highest-rated show, but just by a knife’s edge.

Fox’s “Kitchen,” which concluded its season last night, pulled in a 4.1/11 in the 18- to 49-year-old demographic, according to preliminary Nielsen data. Up 11% from last week, this season of “Kitchen” was its highest-rated yet.

Combined with the season finale of “The Moment of Truth” (2.0/6, up 11%), Fox finished the night tied for first with a 3.0 rating/9 share.

ABC also saw a 3.0 rating/9 share for the night, thanks to “Wipeout” (4.0/13, up 11%). “I Survived a Japanese Game Show” (2.8/8) and “Primetime: Outsiders” (2.3/6) were around par.

NBC, in third place for the night with a 2.5 rating/7 share, got average showings from “Celebrity Family Feud” (2.0/6) and “America’s Got Talent” (3.3/9).

CBS took fourth with a 1.5 rating/4 share, and The CW was fifth with a 0.4 rating/1 share.
