Fox Takes Night With ‘Hole,’ ‘Nightmare’ Ratings

Fox’s “Hole in the Wall” settled into its second week on Thursdays with some minor ratings declines, while “Kitchen Nightmares” held steady from last week. Fox took home the night in adults 18-49 with a 2.4 rating/7 share. Here’s the highlights from last night (all ratings are expressed in adults 18-49):
—“Hole in the Wall’s” back-to-back episodes brought in a 1.8/6 and 2.2/7, down 10% and 15% week-to-week.
—“Kitchen Nightmares” (2.8/8) dipped one-tenth of ratings point from last week.
—The CW unveiled its eighth season premiere of “Smallville” (1.8/6) and fourth season debut of “Supernatural” (1.7/5). Compared to last year’s premieres, “Smallville” declined 10%, while “Supernatural,” which launched last year in October, leapt 42%.
—CBS’ “Flashpoint” posted its highest-rated episode last night with a 2.6/7.
—On NBC, a special Thursday “America’s Got Talent” tied its lowest rating of the summer with a 2.3/7.
