The wave of ratings premieres crested for The CW Wednesday as “America’s Next Top Model” dipped substantially from its last two season debuts.
While not bottoming out, “ANTM” dropped 35% from its premiere last year in The CW's target 18- to 34-year-old demographic, scoring a 1.9 rating/6 share, according to preliminary Nielsen data.
The show also stumbled in the women 18-34 demo, dipping 30% from last year to a 3.0/9.
The CW scored ratings successes earlier this week with “Gossip Girl’s” premiere on Monday and the record-setting debut of “90210” on Tuesday.
