Some Ephemeral Moments

Not all TV can be timeless, of course, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it is otherwise without value. TVParty.com, a great site for fans of classic TV, has edited together a few choice echoes of the past that may pleasantly jog the memories of folks of a certain age.
If you remember the original NBC peacock, S&H Green Stamps, Dobie Gillis, Captain Kangaroo, “That Girl” and when a colorcast was special, then enjoy!

S&H Green stamps! Ugh how i remember licking those horrible things and pasting them in books, and when you had licked yourself dry and collected 4000 books you could get a free cuckoo clock or something ... many memories stirred by that quick montage. always liked the Capt Kangaroo theme. I think it was a British piece called "Puffin Billy," about a train, but I could be completely wrong. Tom Gilbert knows whereof he speaks and speaks whereof he knows. HUH? You know what I'm saying; he appreciates things that need appreciating. The past is still there. All we have to do is visit it.
