Then check out http://makeinternettv.org/, the new site from the open source Internet TV folks at participatoryculture.org. MakeInternetTV is a starting point for any video auteur out there who wants a little direction before they point and shoot.

The site includes pointers on what type of gear you need as well as instructions on shooting (above the head, with two hands, blog style, etc.), selecting a video format, copyright issues to consider, uploading videos, and finally building an audience through promotion.
