Because, well, the writers won’t get paid and that’s the point.

The Writers Guild of America posted this clip on YouTube:

From the picket lines in Los Angeles, “The Office” showrunner Greg Daniels talks about why he and some of the actor-writers on the show are striking.

It’s pretty wild to see the actors as themselves doing “real people” stuff like picketing, but it also makes a strong point on the strike.
