Keeping Current With Music

March 4, 2008 11:50 AM

Hey, it’s a double blog day!

I have to mention this new Current TV show on music that debuts tonight at 7 p.m. Pacific. It’s called “The Fix Extended Play” and you can see a preview here:

The show focuses on emerging musical talent and is designed to give viewers a look at up-and-coming performers. Tonight’s episode will showcase Portland, Ore.-based punk rock band the Thermals, U.K. electro-pop band Hot Chip and Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys.

The show will run on the Current cable channel and also on Current’s Web site at www.current.com.
