Sci Fi Channel commissioned a pilot that will serve as a prequel to its fan favorite, "Battlestar Galactica." The pilot, "Caprica," comes as "Battlestar is set to air its final 20 episodes this year, Daily Variety reports. Sci Fi also agreed with actress Rosario Dawson to develop “True Believer,” a pilot based on a comic book she co-created.

They should do it, but I ahve an interesting idea. Have elements from both the original 1970s Battlestar Galactica and the current one, so that the audience keeps guessing in what relaity this prequel takes place...

Why don't they pickup Journeyman instead or in addition....great, creative, fun show that never got the push it deserved.
