MTV Gives Birth to '16 and Pregnant' N.Y. Post

MTV is planning a reality show version of the Oscar-nominated feature film "Juno," the New York Post reports. "16 and Pregnant" will follow several pregnant teens facing the lows and highs of pregnancy, the newspaper says.

As an adoptee, and as a human being, this is one of the most reprehensible and exploitative ideas I have ever heard. Being 16 and pregnant should not be entertainment fodder, it is a serious situation and these girls need counselling, support and understanding, not cameras in their faces. Please reconsider this disgusting idea for a show and find someone less vulnerable to exploit.
