TV Consumption on the Rise Media Daily
New Census Bureau data reveals that U.S. TV consumption is growing, with TV sets in 110 million U.S. homes in 2006, Media Daily News reports. That figure is up from 76 million in 1980, the Web site says. It is estimated the average number of hours a person will spend watching television this year is 1,704, or 4.7 hours per day, the Web site notes.
