Discovery Communications is in negotiations for the exclusive U.S. rights to a documentary about Thomas Beattie, the first man to give birth, Broadcasting & Cable reports. September Films owns the global rights to the one-hour documentary, which will follow Beattie from childhood to the date of the birth, the newspaper says.
