Sprint Nextel Chief Operating Officer Dan Hesse, who appeared in ads pitching the company's unlimited pricing plan starting last March, will reappear in TV spots during the Emmy Awards, the Wall Street Journal reports. He’ll highlight Sprint's cellphone-customization features. Chrysler, Firestone and JetBlue are other companies that have put either current or former chiefs in TV spots in an effort to revitalize sales, the Journal says.
