Comcast’s regional network CN8 will disband by year’s end, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Comcast will replace it with the Comcast Network, a new network that will focus on the Philadelphia/Pittsburgh and Washington/Baltimore regions, Broadcasting & Cable says. Some 300 CN8 employees are expected to be laid off; some will move to the new network.
