Comcast Exec Raised Funds for Obama

Nov 10, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Comcast’s top fundraiser held a dinner last month for presidential candidate Barack Obama that generated $6.1 million in campaign contributions, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. How much that will help Comcast, which is anti-union and on the opposite side of the net neutrality issue from the Democrats, remains to be seen, the paper says.

  1. This is why I hate the political system in this country. We’re opponents until you give me money, then just tell me what you want, ol’ buddy. Doesn’t matter the party; on this point, I agree with the anarchists. Both are so corrupt that nothing good ever gets done unless you’re willing to pay for it. Term limits now! Who’s with me?
