Tina Fey will no longer play Sarah Palin, the VP candidate who did wonders for her career and the ratings for “Saturday Night Live,” Entertainment Weekly reports. “I have to retire just because I have to do my day job,” Fey tells the magazine, referring to her work on NBC’s “30 Rock” as an actor, writer and producer. Fey would prefer to pass the Palin torch to a current cast member of the late-night sketch show. “I think [Kristen] Wiig would do a really good job. Maybe we could get a real torch. Or I could give Wiig the Palin wig.”
