HBO Releases New ‘True Blood’ Widgets

HBO’s releasing several widgets today for its rabid “True Blood” fans, MediaPost reports. The widgets, dubbed Droplets, were developed by Wetpaint and offer fans three ways to take content from the series to post on social networking sites including MySpace, Facebook and iGoogle. With the new release, Wetpaint CEO Ben Elowitz said HBO is the most aggressive brand when it comes to engaging with the audience or allowing fans to take content and post it on other sites.
