Tween actress and singer Hilary Duff has signed a development deal with NBC, Daily Variety reports. Under the contract Duff will work on a show in which she will star in addition to serving as guest talent on other NBC programs. Universal Media Studios will produce any potential new project, Variety says.

Last time I checked, Hillary was 19. In what alternate universe is that tween and not teen?
If they mneant she is a “tween idol”, they should have said so.
