Media Gears for Young ‘Tonight’ Viewers

Media buyers and advertisers are preparing for the audience of NBC’s “Tonight Show” to get younger once Conan O’Brien replaces Jay Leno as host next year, Advertising Age reports. The show’s future audience is likely to more resemble those who watch Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report” while older viewers may move over to David Letterman’s show on CBS, AdAge says.
