Nov 5, 2008  •  Post A Comment

President-elect Barack Obama has named his first cabinet appointment, the Huffington Post reports. Rep. Rahm Emanuel, D-Ill., has accepted Obama’s offer to be White House chief of staff. With the congressman on board, the line between Washington and Hollywood will be much more direct once the new president takes office. Rep. Emanuel is the brother of Hollywood talent agent Ari Emanuel, co-founder of talent agency Endeavor. A-listers on Endeavor’s roster include Tina Fey, Larry David, Ricky Gervais, Jude Law and Ben Affleck.
