President-elect Barack Obama announced his picks for key members of his communications team, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Robert Gibbs, a media strategist during Obama’s campaign, was picked for press secretary. EMILY’s List’s Ellen Moran was named director of communications and Dan Pfeiffer, the current communications director for Obama’s transition team, was named deputy director of communications.
