Spanish-language networks Univision and Telemundo plan to pump up their digital television transition campaigns during the last 100 days before the national transition date in February, Multichannel News reports. Univision’s telecast of the Latin Grammy Awards on Nov. 13 will integrate the message heavily, as will the network’s news and entertainment information shows. Telemundo is calling its effort to inform viewers about the DTV transition “Alerta Digital” and is running public service announcements featuring personalities Maria Celeste and Pedro Sevcec, among others.
