NBC is working with writer Frank Spotnitz on a new procedural drama from Universal Media Studios, Daily Variety reports. Actress Gabrielle Union, who collaborated with Spotnitz on the idea, has been tapped to star. Union will play a detective who must race the clock to save someone’s life, Variety says.
