Web Users Multitask by Watching TV

Internet users are among the most active television watchers, suggesting that Web surfing may not be taking people away from the TV, Reuters reported, citing a Nielsen study. About a third of Internet usage in North America is conducted while the television is on, while the typical consumer spends about five hours watching TV for every hour on the Web, the wire service says.
