"Olive Garden" bucked to poltical pressure. Therefore, I will no longer be dining there.

Agree with strussman, no more Olive Garden for me and my family until they show some backbone and reverse this decision.

I find it disturbingly ironic that Olive Garden would think such a move would indicate a positive family image. After all, this move supports John Ziegler is a has-been talk show host who was repeatedly fired for overstepping the bounds of appropriateness through sexual, sexist, and racist comments for which he offered no apologies. Meanwhile, Letterman simply made a stupid and misinterpreted joke. This was hardly the first and won’t be last unfunny joke made during a late night talk show. But the worthwhile thing to note, in my opinion, is that Letterman did the remarkable (and right) thing by offering a sincere and heartfelt apology. Sorry, for me it’s a no-brainer who to back on this one. I'm boycotting Olive Garden for their silly overreaction.
