Greg Meidel Chosen to Replace the Departing Bob Cook and Run Twentieth's Syndication Division TV Week
As expected, Greg Meidel, who's been running MyNetwork TVfor the folks over at Twentieth, has now added Twentieth's syndication division to his duties, the company announced today.
Joe Flint, in his Company Town blog for the Los Angeles Times, made the natural speculation that Meidel would get the job when he broke the story of Cook's departure a few months ago.
Oddly, instead of saying Meidel was the frontrunner for the job, at the time Twentieth said they would conduct a search inside and outside the company to replace Cook.
