Laura Linney to Star in 'The C-Word,' a Dark Comedy for Showtime Variety

Laura Linney will executive produce and star in a dark comedy series about cancer for Showtime, reports Daily Variety.

In the half-hour series, entitled “The C Word,” Linney plays a cancer patient. Showtime has ordered a pilot and production will begin in the fall.
