U.S. Treasury Will Recoup At Least $139 Million from DTV Converter Box Program B&C

After the National Telecommunications & Information Association’s final DTV converter box coupons are redeemed, at least $139 million will remain in the program to return to the federal treasury, Broadcasting & Cable says.

The amount of money left over will more likely be upwards of $200 million. Coupons must be redeemed by the end of October.
