When Otherwise Good Guys Say Stupid Things

Having the maturity of a cranky ten year old I was very upset and told this to my boss: “How about you accrue my transgressions until they reach a cumulative $50 and then I promise not to give you a bad time when you present me with your rejections of $50 worth of rejections.

I am not exactly sure that there is the slightest connection to this issue, but what the hell!

What would ESPN have done if Griese had said that Montoya was out getting a beer?

What would ESPN have done if Griese had said that Montoya was out getting a pastrami sandwich?

It is debatable to me that Griese had said something “questionable.”

But good grief, what did ESPN accomplish when they suspended Griese.

He apologized for what he said and ESPN, ABC, and The Walt Disney Company over reacted as far as I am concerned.

I need to stop now and go out and eat some lox on a toasted bagel with cream cheese and onion with a Dr. Brown’s Diet Cream Soda.
