‘Dexter’ Soars in Advance of Finale

Sunday night’s “Dexter” brought Showtime its most-watched telecast in a decade, B&C reports.

The next-to-last episode of the season drew 2.1 million viewers in its first airing at 9 p.m., making it the series’ most-watched episode.

The last time a Showtime original series, acquired movie or sports special did better was a boxing match on Oct. 23, 1999.
