Telemundo to Beef Up News Programming B&C
NBC Universal’s Spanish-language Telemundo plans to beef up its news programming, B&C reports.
The network will create a national public affairs program, increase its investment in local newscasts and embark on a new multimedia strategy, B&C says.
In addition, Jose Diaz-Balart will replace veteran Pedro Sevcec as anchor of the nightly newscast “Noticiero Telemundo.”
