'Big Bang' Big Stuff for CBS in the Ratings TV by the Numbers
CBS had another strong Monday showing in the Nielsens, anchored by "The Big Bang Theory" having the top 18-49 rating of the night, 5.4, according to TVbythenumbers.com.
In the 8 o'clock hour, Fox's "House" was tops with a 4.8 in the 18-49 rating, followed by ABC's "The Bachelor" which averaged a 4.1 for the hour. CBS's "How I Met Your Mother" and "Accidentally on Purpose" collected a 3.7 and 3.1, respectively. NBC's "Chuck" trailed with a 2.4, and CW's "One Tree Hill" had a 1.0.
At 9, CBS's "Two and a Half Men" climbed to a 5.1 followed by "Big Bang's" 5.4, to dominate the hour. ABC's second hour of "The Bachelor" had a 4.4, while Fox's "24" with a 3.1, stayed ahead of NBC's "Heroes" with a 2.0 in the 18-49. CW's new show "Life Unexpected" managed just a 1.0.
The CBS juggernaut continued at 10 p.m. with "CSI: Miami" earning a 3.6, ahead of an ABC rerun of "The Castle" and NBC's "The Jay Leno Show" with a 1.1.
