Is There a Hollywood Blogger Who’s the Model for This HBO Series? THR

HBO is developing a half-hour comedy series about a powerful and tough female showbiz blogger, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the report, "It comes at a time of booming Internet showbiz journalism as a number of veteran Hollywood print reporters, including Nikki Finke, Sharon Waxman and Anne Thompson, have migrated online."

Called “Tilda,” the series comes from Oscar-winning writer-director Bill Condon (“Gods and Monsters”) and Cynthia Mort, creator of HBO's "Tell Me You Love Me." It’s Condon’s first TV series writing project; he’s also set to direct if the pilot gets picked up.
