Jay to Dave: Thanks for Inviting Me to Appear in Your Super Bowl Promo AP

Appearing on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" helped Jay Leno's image a bit, but the commercial during the Super Bowl has done even more and Jay is thanking David Letterman for making it happen, reports the Associated Press.

During the penultimate "Jay Leno Show" on NBC Monday night, Leno said of Letterman, "He was very gracious. We talked about the old days. We told some jokes. It was really good to see him."

Leno also said, " 'whatever happened [between us] in the last 18 years disappeared' when the two comics got together for the shoot.
