Critical Favorite and Multiple Emmy-Winning Show Increases Ratings in Season 3 Debut

The season three debut of a show that’s been a darling of critics and Emmy voters alike did better in the ratings this time out.  

The third season of AMC’s “Breaking Bad” drew show’s most viewers to date, TheWrap reports.

The show averaged 2 million viewers at 10 p.m. Sunday, up from1.7 million for the first night of season two. Another 1.3 million tuned in to an encore.

For the best two season’s the show has nabbed the Emmy for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a drama series. That would be series star Bryan Cranston.
