CBS Goes With '$#*!' Over '$#!+' In New Shatner Sitcom Variety

CBS' "$#*! My Dad Says," starring William Shatner, has had a long task of deciding how to label the show, considering that the first word in the title is an expletive, Variety reports.

Based off the Twitter feed "Shit My Dad Says," CBS has officially opted to use "$#*!," and pronounce it "bleep," to describe the first word in the title.

The phrase "$#!+" was turned down, as it was believed to be too similar in look to the word "shit."

You can say "shit" on Muchmusic and MTV in Canada. No one seems to care.

What they should actually call the show is "Shat My Dad Says."

shat is past tense, in a sentence "I believe I shat myself back there"

The "F" word is often uttered on prime-time in Canada... I've heard it on CBC and other channels... What's the big deal?
