The Most Watched TV Series in The World (It's NOT Last Year's Winner, Which was "House") TVWeek

Today, Friday, June 11, 2010 at the 50th Monte Carlo TV Festival, the most-watched TV program in the world was scheduled to be honored with the annual International TV Audience Award. Last year's winner was "House." 

But this year's winner is "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." This is the third time in five years that "CSI" has received this honor, according to a press announcement. According to the data, "CSI" was watched by 73.8 million viewers worldwide.
