British Comedian Joining Cast of Showtime's 'United States of Tara' Deadline.com

A British comedian will be joining the third season of Showtime's "United States of Tara" in a major recurring role, reports Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com. 

Eddie Izzard will play a psychology professor who becomes fascinated with Tara, a woman who struggles with dissociative identity disorder, the story says. It marks Izzard's first U.S. series role since he starred in FX's "The Riches," the article adds.
