Icahn Raises Hostile Takeover Bid for Lions Gate Multichannel News

The hostile takeover bid by businessman Carl Icahn for Lions Gate Entertainment was increased by 15% on Tuesday to $7.50 a share, reports Multichannel News.

Lions Gate is a major entertainment player, owning the TV Guide Channel and producing two award-winning TV shows, "Mad Men" and "Nurse Jackie," among other properties.

The Lions Gate board of directors will review the latest bid from Icahn, whose previous bids were rejected, and is expected to respond soon, the story says.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

Designer Handbags Online are expensive, but they are designed, handmade, only the best materials and labor costs are not cheap in European countries.
