[Corrected 3:58 p.m. 8/13/10. This item–including its headline–originally said the episodes in question had never aired. That was incorrect, and not what the report on Vulture.com said.]

All 10 episodes of “Party Down’s” final season will be available for digital download beginning Aug. 24 via outlets such as iTunes and Amazon.com,according to New York Magazine’s Vulture.com. The suggested price is $1.99 per show.

Starz has pushed up the release to appease the fans.

Starz digital media exec Marc DeBevoise told the publication, "It’s the earliest we’ve ever gone out [for sale] with a show. Our goal is to get out there as fast as possible to the rabid fans."

  1. Not unaired. Pulled from online and on-demand venues. Please don’t tease us like that!

  2. So the show is popular enough for them to rush out to try and grab some revenue from the fans, but not enough to keep it going for another season? Not sure Starz is exactly the good guy here.

  3. Starz acted too quick to cancel the show. Party Down was starting to bring some buzz to Starz and they couldn’t handle it, so they canceled it.
