Coinciding with the kickoff of the National Football League season, the NFL Network, in conjunction with NFL Films, is launching a new series Sept. 3 called “The Top 100: NFL’s Greatest Players," reports SportsNewser.com.

The 10-part series will feature former NFL stars, coaches, analysts, celebrities and fans lending their expertise to a list of the top NFL players of all time. The countdown will start with player No. 100 and continue until No. 1 is revealed. Each one-hour episode will focus on 10 NFL players.

After the Sept. 3 premiere, episode two will be shown on Tuesday, Sept. 7, with future episodes slotted for Thursdays at 9 p.m. starting Sept. 16.
