Midterm Elections Give Fox News a Viewer Boost

Nov 4, 2010  •  Post A Comment

The midterm elections Tuesday, during which a Republican wave was voted into office, gave Fox News a boost as well, reports the New York Times’ Media Decoder blog.

The network drew an average of 6.96 million viewers in prime time on Tuesday, more than double the audience for CNN, which was watched by an average of 2.42 million viewers. MSNBC, meanwhile, drew 1.94 million people.

Although reliable ratings for the broadcasters won’t be available until later today, there are indications that Fox News drew a bigger audience than broadcast networks, the story notes.

  1. This truly disgusts me. America, you are so stupid. After everything Fox news has done, twisting facts, faking footage, you still come back like youre a dumb, weak idiot in a bad relationship.
You give Bush 8 years to fuck shit up, and Obama 2.
