New Show From Shonda 'Grey's Anatomy' Rhimes Gets Green Light Deadline.com

Shonda Rhimes' project about a crisis management guru has received a pilot order from ABC, marking the network's first pilot order for the development season, reports Deadline.com.

The untitled project is based on the career of crisis management consultant Judy Smith and is written by Rhimes, marking her first pilot script since the 2007 "Grey's Anatomy" episode that led to the spinoff "Private Practice," the story notes.

Judy Smith will be a technical consultant and co-executive producer, while Rhimes will executive produce with her Shondaland partner Betsy Beers, the article says. The project got a quick turnaround, with ABC executives greenlighting the pilot just 24 hours after reading the script, it notes.
