No Lie: Fox Does Not Order a Back Nine Episodes of ‘Lie To Me.’ Thus Series Will Only Air 13 Episodes this Season. Fox Says No Decision Yet If Show Will Be Canceled

"Fox will not be giving a back-nine order to crime procedural "Lie to Me," whose current third season will consist of 13 episodes."

So writes Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com.

The article goes on to say that the decision on whether or not to continue the show next season will be made come spring.

So why no back-nine order for the show? That’s because the series is only slated to run through Jan. 31st this season.

The article continues, "Last season, Fox ended up with 12 episodes of Lie to Me in the can after ordering 22 and only using the series for the fall. The network ended up airing those 12 episodes over the summer."
