Warner Bros. Nixes Rumor That 'Glee' Star is Up to Play Lead Character in Remake of 'Buffy' THR
Warner Bros. "insiders" are denying a report that's hit the Internet that one of the stars of "Glee" is being considered to play the title role in the remake of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The rumor is that Heather Morris, who plays Cheerleader Brittany, is being considered to play the title role in the remake of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
The article says, "When asked directly about the Morris casting rumor, first reported by sci-fi blog Blastr.com, [the screenwriter of the remake, Whit] Anderson replied: 'We're not even *thinking* about casting yet. The script isn't even written!' she said in a tweet that was later deleted."
Well, the "insiders" might be denying the rumor, but Anderson seems to have delivered ye ol' classic non-denial denial.
