CBS Picks Up ‘Big Bang Theory’ for Three More Seasons

The CBS hit “The Big Bang Theory” was picked up by the network for another three years, keeping it on the air through the 2013-14 season, The New York Times reported.

The renewal was announced jointly today by CBS and the show’s producer, Warner Bros. The sitcom was the No. 1 scripted show on TV last season in the 18-49 demographic, the story says. Its numbers in the demo are up about 15 percent cince being moved last fall to Thursday nights from Mondays.
